I hate the fact that this is a rotor...... ....but this is how you remove ALL of your wheel nuts at once!!..... FYI - this is what can happen when you force on the wrong pitch nuts.

....and that 3k would probably be from a ke30, and the 4k was from a ke70. If its one of the hot-box bolt thats turning it'll be because its snapped off in the ex manifold. They've just gone hot>cold way too many times and have become brittle. When I originally setup my J-pipe turbo setup I had to buy 3x ke70 single exit ex manifolds before I got one that didn't have a snapped bolt in it. And that was only because I told the wrecking yard I wanted them to seperate it for me. Took them over 3 hours with an oxy torch heating the manifold and slowly removing the stud to get it...... and they charged me like $60 for the part in the end but I was happy cause it didn't have a snapped bolt in it. The best thing I think you can do is just try and find a set of extractors and get rid of the hot-box all together!!! :D

You can either make or find a suitable carby "hat" with an inlet to boost it with - Try finding one from a 4k/5k liteace Or, fully inclose the whole carby in some sort of box. Click "tar" in my sig and you'll see the pics of "neds helmet". Oh, you might not know who Ned Kelly is if you're european.

Don't have one handy to measure...... but you should!! Just remove your gear know and measure the diametre of the thread. It'll be either 10mm or 12mm and then you have your answer. :D

No you can't just use the stock sensor. The guage and sender are calibrated to work together. Did the guage come with any adapters? If not you should be able to buy one from Enzed, Pirtek, hydraquip etc or even a brass wares store. Temp sensor is normally on the drivers side of the thermostat housing. The other one is hooked into the carby/emmissions control stuff somehow. The headunit power wiring should be on the accessories position of the key. You should have the guage on "on" power. If you wired the guage up with the headunit then when you're sitting still listening to the stereo (with engine turned off and key on Acc) your temp guage would also be on. You should be able to pull some "on" from the back of the fuse box easily.

So which manifold has the farked stud? the inlet or exhaust? And what stud? the manifold>head ones or the mani>mani "hot box" gasket? Always use a new gasket. And its alwasy just easier to take both manifolds out together.

Mine are TE27 replicas which I bought from Meridian Motor Sport in Melbourne. They're much "shorter" (ie don't extend as far down the car) as those ones Jip picture.

I also have an old mazda sales brouchure for RX4's in the glove box. If you want I can scan it for you as there's pictures showing the original fender mirrors?
