Yeah relly good mate. I'm now a MSCT member (obviously) and got an 12 month S2 licence aswell, so wasn't a cheap day...but the next one will be!!! And I can now do club days for the daily entry fee! :yes: Which Tar will be seeing very soon. Had heaps of fun, as did everybody there I think - 22 entries all up. Wasn't all the bumpy at all, but got pretty boggy by the end of the day, which didn't help being the last to go every time! :hmm: I was # 22. Pretty sure the next one is in 4 weeks time at Archer's Manor again, so will be much more suitable for you. I'll have Tar at that one too. :yes:

Yeah I know mate! :yes: that car is built from left overs. 4k block in it has seen over 20psi, rings and valve stem seals need replacing. Just planning in doing a cheap re-build on here soon.

yes the tappet covers with swap over. I myself would use the 5k one as it has a screw in 710 cap, not push in. :yes:

You could buy a new one still from toyota as they're still putting them in forklifts, but it would cost a bit. :hmm:

Hi David, Yeah You're correct, the tabs under 1 & 4 indicate dishies on either a 5k or 4ku. So you can use either a normal 4kc or maybe a 3k big port head if you can find one to drop your CR.

Box around the whole carby means you don't need to make sure its perfectly sealed. If you carb is in good nick you can just put a hat on it. However I would be more inclined to just make one from scratch rather than trying to weld a thin metal airfilter housing! :yes:

Depend on how free flowing your exhaust is as to weather it'll blow flames. Best done down hills..... Throttle flat to the floor > and turn the key to off > wait a few seonds > turn key back to on > BANG Because the coil is no longer firing, the plus don't burn the fuel in the engine and pump it into the exhaust (remeber your foot is flat). when you tuen back to on it spark through the exhaust ignite the fuel and make a bang. Fink must have had a muffler full of fuel and blow it open when it ignited. :dance:
