  1. You'll have to use the ke35 tailshaft, which will fit the ke70 box. You'll also have to cut a hole further back in the trans tunnel to accomodate the new shifter position.
  2. More cars.... Missus come home from work and says - "One of the guys I work with has a mate who knows who you (me) are, and knows your cars etc. Said he wants to have a chat with you cause there a few of then with paddock bashers already and want you to join then!!!!" Will let you know what I hear. ;)
  3. Yeah fair enough. I'm not going to go about bagging the crap out of them as I've had no personal experience, but they don't have the greatest reputation. Not so much how hard you run them, just general reliability. That "Garrett" cast into the compressor cover goes a long way sometimes. ;)
  4. Didn't you think you got it a bit cheap for a BRAND NEW turbo??? They're Chinese made turbos buddy, I'll leave it at that.
  5. ;) good luck with that one mate! Maybe try and get yourself a cheap t25 or 25g as a spare!!!!
  6. what have you got at the moment, like size wise? 7MGE or 7MGTE one will bolt straight in and are bit bigger than 4AGE ones. ZE ones are big though.
  7. Could buy one of these.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-COROLLA-Repa...Q2em118Q2el1247 ;)
  8. hahaha looks like you got a cat jammed in your tailgate/hatch!!!! ;) BTW, good to see you used quality choppies not "superworx" choppies!!! ;)
  9. Yeah now worries bud. ;) Sorry, maybe should have said will post STATE WIDE for $5.50. ;)
  10. Hey Ben, Matt (my mate who has come with us) said to me the other day: Matt: "....so it turns out after doing all that work last week I have about a spare $600. I'm thinking maybe I should buy a corolla!?" My missus: "You mean you're actually going to get your licence?" Matt: "No" He looks at me and we both piss ourselves laughing, knowing exactly what he wants to do. ;) Just thought you might also get a chuckle out of it.
  11. Hello boys and girls. I have just purchased 10 rollaclub stickers in various colours from Teddy. 3 of which will be going on my cars, but that leaves 7 for the first tassie members who put their hands up. Dimentions are 50cm long x 5cm high, and they are this design..... I have made a small saving on the original price Teddy advertised through combined postage and will pass this onto you also. They will be $5 each for collection from me in Launy, or $5.50 posted to Hobart in a business sized evelope (so will be folded). So get in quick as first in, best dressed. I will advise the colours next week when I get them. Cheers, Si.
  12. In your wagon? I want one in my wags too......Oh hang on, I've got one!!! ;) ;) You've still got me rolla's than me though!
  13. Mine are from Meridian Motor Sport in Melbourne. ;)
  14. Quick update for Winke55 and harun so you know were we're at: I've just been to the bank and completed the telegraphic transfer. This should clear by the end of the week to Brodie. I'm sure he will keep us posted from here. In the mean time if you want to PM your postal address' so I can send them to you when I get them. ;)
  15. $1 - $1000 Depend where you get it from and what is done to it! ;)
  16. Yes ke55 and ke70 K50's and K40's all have the same input and output splines. ;) So no need to change clutch or tail shaft.
  17. Yeah the backing plate on the motor. But no gasket. You'll need a 19T spline clutch.
  18. Yeah thats sort of what I was thinking, other wise we both have to pay international transfer fees. :eatlead:
  19. That postage would be like $15-20 I reckon mate. 1 more thing too: Have checked with ANZ Brodie, ANZ NZ and ANZ Aus are basically 2 different business' and we can't simply do a member to memeber transfer. So we have basically 3 options: 1, Internation funds transfer - about $30 charge 2, ANZ bank check - Also about $30 3, Paypal - 3% $860 = $25.8 I know you keep saying you don't want to start a paypal account, but it is very easy and FREE to join. Then once you have it, I have no doubt you'll find it very handy and use it again. Given the price difference between the options, I really don't care which way we go, paypal would just be easier. :eatlead: So harun - If we to say you total price was $460. This includes the original $430 + $15 for tassie-melb + $15 (half of $30 transfer fee). You all happy with this?
  20. The head gasket is the weak link in a boosted K motor....... :hmm: :eatlead: Locking the dizzy and running static timing reduces the compression ratio "at the time of firing". Oh and to answer the original question: Pull it apart and you'll see how easy it is to do. Either replace springs with cable ties, or cabel tie the weight slots if it has them. You'll see what I mean. :bash:
  21. Out of interest MM, How much did you pay for it? I got one a few months back and just wanna know how good my price was. I got exactly the same one from A.I. too.
  22. Is this Leigh's old wagon? Thats an old sticker with only 6 digits!! :eatlead: L,ton would be Launceston! :bash:
  23. Look at my post above mate! :eatlead:
  24. I just got off a "Double jepardy" points thing. Think Tassie is the only state that does it. Was supposed to loose my licence a year ago for 3 month through lost of points. But we get the option (for fully licenced drivers) to have 1 point for 12 months. If you loose this 1 point, then you loose your licence for 6 months (or double to original period). It was sooo hard, but I kept my nose clean for 12 months and now have 12 points again!! :eatlead:
  25. Pretty sure it is. So the "random vacuum" is the addition I'm talking about - Just block this up. You're right on the fuel line And I think what you have labelled as the "water choke" is actually a vacuum line too. And the jets are far too big for a K.
