  1. Ah no, did you buy that POS weber off Olly!? If so we tapped a vacuum line into the top of the float bowl as part of a boost conversion.
  2. You tell us mate, pull them out and have a look. Also check that the needle and seat is not ceased or blocked.
  3. Hey Teddy, Can I please get like 10-15 in assorted colours for all Tassie guys? I can then distorbute them throughout the state. and would there be any issue in doing a direct bank deposit instead of paypal? I'm having some paypal issues at the moment. Cheers, Si.
  4. hehe me too!!! And I'm with Nick on the twins sorry!
  5. you can get flair tubing to neaten bolt on fitment. for the smooth look, I would be more inclined to use fibreglass, and mould the flair to the body, as well as filling the bolt on holes.
  6. Ok. So it sounds like the box then. mate once blew the smaller sun gear out of a ke55 diff. Put it in gear and the tail shaft would turn, but not make it through the diff. One of good things about K40 and K50 is they both have big inspection plates on the bottom. Pull it off and see if anything is obviously not right - Gives you a clear view of the whole gear set. Take a pic of the gear set too if you can.
  7. What do you mean by "...the tailshaft quickly rotates back and forth (talking less than 10mm of movement)."??? So it doesn't spin??? or is this movement with your hand?
  8. haha you sound like an Aussie, not a kiwi!!
  9. Dunno if you'd like the idea or not, but instead of putting a top on it you could put some rubber on the edge of the bit you made so it seals on the bottom of the bonnet. Then get some sort of little vent in the corner of the bonnet?
  10. haha yeah that does look pretty much like my car! Just needs some flairs on it. :) Know if there's any more for sale?
  11. They're better with the timing 180* out!! :)
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-COROLLA-KE20...1QQcmdZViewItem :)
  13. Can get dynamat form any decent car audio shop. Come in different kits, ie doors, boot etc, so prices change. Make a hell of a difference. You should see how much is in the Car Accessory Installs Celica (old 1ggtte ra40), Daim covered the whole inside of the cabin. :bash:
  14. ....but you would expect anything less for New Norfolk!!! :bash:
  15. Bout bloddy time!!! :bash: .......not that I can talk. Fark it spools quick! over 10psi free-revving! Mine gets like 3psi. Good to see you finally started a projects thread too. :y:
  16. Could only have been a commonwhore driver!! :bash: they're all wankers!!!
  17. here is your answer Seriously though mate. Click the Knowledge base/FAQ tab at the top and have a read. :bash:
  18. I would be up for that. I bought a bellhousing from NZ last year (so bigger and heavier) was $35 with track and trace and was here in 3 days!!! Brodie - Have you put an add up on KP61.net aswell? Might be worth asking the yanks too!?
  19. hahahahaha Don't you brush your teeth!!? :y: Maybe it worked its way out of your nose in the last 4 days!!! :bash:
  20. Its NZD$480. so depends on what the exchange rate is at the time of payment. + postage.
  21. Just checking as I made the same mistake myself a few weeks ago. Oh well, sounds like a good excuse for forgies and H beams!!! :bash:
  22. Marine engine huh!? :bash:
  23. Did you remove all spark plugs when you did the comp test? Ie had the other 3 going puff puff puff?
  24. You always pic up on the weirdest things John, but shows your general attention to detail. :bash: In regards to the rear handles, with my wagon you have to open both back doors to get the rear seat right down, or it fouls on them on like a 30* angle. However.....mine is a later wagon (79-80 IIRC), so don't exactly see how it could be a verision. Doesn't appear to be extra holes in the door trim, so somebody hasn't retro-fitted them. Maybe just a trim option!? :y:
