  5. This the page you speak of Jason? http://autospeed.com/cms/A_0102/article.html?popularArticle 13bt injectors are 550cc and there's 4x of them. 12at injectors are 880cc as there is only 2x. Common upgrade for 13bt's is to replace the secondary (or all) injectors with the 880cc items, hence there is always 550cc's for sale everywhere. 7MGTE injectors would be a good size at 430cc. As for the fuel rail. I think you may be better off measuring the port spacings of the 3t, and see if you can't find a similar sized 4 cylinder with a rail you can use as is. Would Jamie (Q's bro) have some sort of T series fuel rail laying around still?
  6. I've got some s13 silvia seats in my turbo car, just made some simple brackets to fit them onto the corolla rails. Coming from a 2 door they also flip forward like you need. I got them from daewo dave when he found that power pole for $80. Let me know if you wanna have a look at them. Happy to help you fit something too! :D Also see if you can't find a nice set of s5 rx7 seats, s5's have more bolstering than a s4 seat.
  7. Not worried about that. Will look even better when its back together! ;) Just a good opprtunity for me to fix some other things. I'll find the specs on the cam Darren. Or if KANGAROOSA reads this he might be able to post them for me. ;)
  8. was the gear box out of gear!!?
  9. Say what? Was only thinking to myself last night...."what's a bet I check my thread in the morning and Trev has made some sort of comment about K's and AGE's"! ;) Teething probs mate, thats all it is. Everything in the engine bay is new and I have been driving the car a bit in the last week trying to fault find it. At the end of the day, its >$100 to fix..........so what's yours gunna cost to fix Daim!!!? ;)
  10. ;) ;) :( Gold!!!!
  11. Mmmm 'busa powered rolla!!! :D
  12. My friend I think you just learnt how important decent earthing of your motor is!!!!!! The only reason why I can think that the ckutch cable is getting hot is the motor is using this as an earth strap!!! To clarify this quickly, use some jumper leads to temporaraly earth the motor to the chassis. Should know striaght away through the speed the engine turns over at. :D
  13. Took Josho for a run last night.......and blew a head gasket! :D Oh well, that'l give me the chance to CC my head and correctly work out the copression ratio. Not real fazed. Few other things I can do to like: Fix small sump leak put new speedflow bulkhead fitting in sump fit new flywheel and clutch and then its finally T50 time too!
  14. Looks like a 3k one. Did it have a little cover over the points?
  15. Yeah NGK's FTW, bosch plug are shit! Stock 4k plugs are bp5ey. Gap is 0.8mm You need a bigger (19mm IIRC) spark plug tool.
  16. haha thats how I undo the crank pulley bolt, but with the coil lead removed so it won't start. :D I've got a spark plug tool I bought from supercheap for like $7. Double sized end and a T handle. They also have a uni joint in them, which does get a bit slogged out, but only allows you to do up the spark plug as tight as you need to. Shit quality toll....but highly recommended!!
  17. Nice of you to offer a look, but he's in Oklahoma mate!! :D
  18. Yeah try closing the points gap up a bit and see if that helps. Are your plugs good? Arcing coil or plug leads can also cause serious misses, so if you can swap some leads between cars etc you could eliminate this problem. Or just buy a set of Bosch super sport plug leads from supercheap for like $20. :D
  19. Different people call them different things. I've got a couple of sets of similar wheels which I refer to as "Westerns". Probably the most common name for them though is "Jelley Bean mags" because of the shame of the holes in them. :D
  20. Speaking of NHRA drag cars,......Very sad news. Did anybody else see the Scott Kalitta died when his car exploded a couple of weeks ago!? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwS-1TQXMws...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK70eJdP44o...feature=related Atleast he died doing what he loved. RIP Scott.
  21. You have a ke70 k50 by the sounds of then. Could have avoided cutting the trans tunnel by fitting a ke55 k50 rear extension housing. Oh well, if what Irokin has written is correct, then you have the stronger of the 2!
  22. Ah shite your right man :D . I was in NZ last year when it was on, so I keep thinking its this year cause I missed out. Oh well, you've got another 13-14 months for that one then!
  23. Is the the Toyota logo supposed to have horns, as in devil horns? Looks good mate! :D Van Diemens car show will be at the Silverdome this year again, probably in September. You going to be finished for that?
  24. Exactly! Hence making kids think they could build there own!
