haha yeah think it's probably already faster than the mazda, fastest it ever went was a 14.3, but still with ignitor problems and a few misses. Oh and a GB that chewed about 30-40kw!!! :P goes a fair bit better now with the new box. I think we're all interest in see what a forced inducted 7k goes like!! :D

At the moment I restricted to a shade over 10psi, as this piece of shit RPM heavy duty clutch is starting to slip - which you can clearly see on the dyno graph where I have circled. No big deal, as I have to get a new clutch for the T50, so this will probably just happen a bit sooner than originally planned. Need to get onto 'the man' in NZ and get this 200mm lightened flywheel over too. anyway here's the graphs..... Is quite good how it sits on peak power for over 1000rpm.

The plates sit against the big spider gears. Al it could do is run against the little ones too! Worse case its only gunna make you cut twins if it somehow jams! :P

an extra cog is always good. :P Really depends on $'s I suppose. Should be able to get a good 5sped for $150-$200.

The fact that it hasn't been done already should be enough to convince you that it is simply not worth the effort and expence. There is a lot that can be done to a 4k performance wise, a lot still keeping it visual stock. Have a good read of the FAQ, discuss with your father what you have learnt today and re-plan what you would like to do with your car. :wink: :lock:

Um no. Do a little bit of research on DOHC, SOHC and OHV engine and you'll discover that's a little bit of a silly question. The only bolt on DOHC head you could bolt to a K motor is the 130E (happy Irokin! :)) head, its commonly referred to round here as a 3k-r, but you've got more change of retro fitting an RB26DETT head than FINDING one of those, ie forget it. :( and you say you're not allowd to drive a modified car. ;) How is a head swap any different to the 3 C's!?

Fully sik, hektic blow off valves can be fitted to both turbo and SC engines. :( FFS, you can even buy electronic one these days for NA cars! ;)

Does it deffinately have a 4ac in it or a 4k? also check the capacity on the engine plate, does it say 1.6l or 1.3l?

Cool, yeah worth a try anyway, as it may have stop leaking BECAUSE there's no water left to leak!

Is there still water in the motor, or has it all leaked onto you floor!? Top the radiator up again and re-check the heater box. Unless its a dodgy seal around the door, window, windscreen etc thats the only place water will come from. :(

What line of work are you hoping to find a job in? Don't forget to tell that last one out of NZ to turn of the lights!! ;) :(

Cool, is that fully bolted in now, or just sitting there? Do you still need the other facia?
