  1. Skids will have to wait till after dyno tuning, plus I'm not doing it on semi slicks for the sake mof a vid, so i'll have to dig out some dried old crusty 165 or something for that. :lolcry:
  2. ............oh,..did you mean pics of cars!!?? :y:
  3. They're 32/32's :lolcry: Thats what I was using in the turbo kit, and currently have another one on my NA car. Benefits of having a bro into Fiats! :y:
  4. Hi Remi, welcome to rollaclub. Always good to see old rollas getting round in other countries! :lolcry: You could find the parts you are after for sale here in Aus, but postage would be very expensive, maybe not so much for the springs but deffinately the gear box. The only difference between a ke30-55 gear box, and a ke70 one is the shifter position. The ke70 one is 10cm/3" or so further back, so putting one in a ke30-55 requires cutting the transmission tunnel for the shifter to come through. To you have any kp61 starlets in Norway? They also have 4k motors like ke30-55 corolla. The Starlets also come with 5 speeds, so if they are more common than corollas you might be able to find a gear box for them. :y: Depending on what model it is you might have the same issue with the shifter position. As for springs, find out how much these companies could post them to you. http://www.pedders.com.au/contact Have a look in catalogue for ke36-38 http://www.kingsprings.com/ http://www.lovells.com.au/products.php?p=coil
  5. Hey Nick, I Have a ke70 5 speed here too and the cross member bolts on different to ke55 5speeds and k40's. So you will need a ke70 CM,...or '55 extension housing. Sorry I couldn't help.
  6. Yeah alright then, I'll invest in a 12v coil soon. Plan on rigging up some sort of dualpulse CAS and running 4x coil packs eventually. Just took it for a drive!!!! :lolcry: Didn't like 3rd too much once the boost built up a bit, but 2nd wasn't too bad. f@$k ALL LAG!! :y:
  7. ....a 4/5k with what done to it.......! :lolcry: I don't really think it too big when you consider some people put 2 large dcoe (40-45) webers on worked a 4/5k. Really just depends if its jetted and tuned correctly!
  8. Got a box full of gearbox bits, plus gearboxs laying everywere (as you've seen ) so I'm sure we can find you some wire clips Dan. :lolcry: Found some round headlights for you too btw. I'll show you what the reverse wiring is when you come get the clips. :y:
  9. Yeah was pretty agricultural back in the old days, was all just a learning exercise really. So what'd ya think bout the coil darren, should I go 12v?
  10. thanks guys, I'll give the other bits a re-polish tomorrow maybe, as the new shiny pipes make them look really dull. Will take some decent pics when I do. Fouled another set of plugs! :lolcry: (thye were bp5es Matt) so there was no driving it tonight. Most of it would be because it is running so rich, but I'm thinking maybe I should buy a new coil and f@$k off the ballast resistor, and run 12v through them all the time. :y: Thoughts???
  11. those ebay electric things are not worth the postage! :lolcry: Get maybe a poofteenth of a kilowatt.
  12. here's a phone pic for now..... :lolcry:
  13. Don't you start, haven't seen a project update from you yet!!! :lolcry:
  14. Piping is coming along very nicely. Plans changed a little bit, cooler did have 1.75" in/out, they were cut off and now has 2" pipes and the top one has been angled up towards throttle body. One things for sure - I'm gunna have bugger all lag from the cooler!! Total piping length from turbo to throttle body would be under half a metre!!! Will have it back tonight!! :lolcry:
  15. I've got one of those speco tacho's. They're actually a perfect fit for retro-fitting them into a corolla dash!! Little bit of work, but worth it I think.....
  16. Think I've still got 1 set of round headers left, will double check and let you know. :lolcry:
  17. yeah mate, all bolts on and is good to go for the 4k. depending on what you want to use it for, you may want to change some things like fuel reg, injectors (190cc) etc. here's a pic of my 7ke manifold......
  18. just play around with a few different combo of leaves flipped and or added. Safest way the remove and re-fit that centre bolt is to put the whole leaf pack in a bench vice. That way it hopefully unload and smack you in the head. :P
  19. Have you also tried your local 'nuts and bolts' or conventry fasteners etc?
  20. I've never had any experiences with boosting side drafts, but imagine it would be much the same as a down drafts. Like said in the "sipercharged" thread below this one, the guys to talk to about boosting sidies would be the Puerto Rican's. :P
  21. :P
  22. ah yeah....why didn't I think of that! :P :P
  23. Its tassie dude, don't stress! :P Honestly can't see inspectors having a problem with a weber etc. It's not really like they'l tell you to take it home and put a vacuum canister on it. :P
  24. Small update: did a little bit of work on it on the weekend. Changed the plugs (again) to bp5es, played with the fuel map to try and improve idle- which it did slightly. Also changed all of the ignition map and pulled back the high (50o+) timing. Re-mounted boost controller and fitted actuator lines etc. Oh, and this'l make a couple of peeps happy - Got my new turbosmart Vee-port on Friday!! K&N pod will arrive today. ....yes I have been making some progress lately, mainly because I dropped it off to have the cooler piping done today!!!!! :P Will probably take a couple of days, but should be running boost by the weekend! Drove it there today, and my god is it responsive NA! :wootjump: So for all the peeps who keep PM'ing me for updates....put that in your pipe and smoke it! :P
  25. I've got a couple of ke55 ones which I think are the same. Will double check for you mate. :P
