Thats the one thing i could never understand when i use to ride. Your defined as a road user but you have to dismount the bike to cross the road... Shopping centers are another good one with that as well. I got to the point of phuck 'em and either stop or plow on ahead looking else where...

That don't have to be in a "specific" position as such. As long as their more-or-less in-line with the door lock. The rods can be molded to fit as long as the angles are not too sharp. Think of it like this - the more you bend the rod the more spring there is in it (basically when the door lock stops but the solenoid still keeps moving the bend in the rod will take up the extra movement and when the solenoid stops the bend in the rod will spring back and quite possibly unlocking the door or re-lock it)

Because the bicycle is a form of transport and because of that the government has proclaimed that it is illegal to use footpaths just like any other form of surface traveling transport.... I believe even a horse (read: multiple legged land creature) and its rider has to use the road (or crown land if its not residential) Yeah noticed that and its just not on here but in real life as well - guess it goes back to the parents in a way (with what we get told in how we're allowed to raise our kids by people that don't have kids)

Robert ROBERT is the #996 most common female name. 0.008% of females in the US are named ROBERT. Around 10200 US females are named ROBERT! :2thumbs: Something just doesn't sound right with that  Kim The last name of many, many Korean people. It's like Smith or Jones in English-speaking countries. Hey, look! Everywhere there's a Kim! Firstly take the trim off and work the remote to see what the solenoids are doing. The screws solenoids (motors) might be loose or you might have to re-position them so that the rods are more in line with where they connect to the door locks. Or if all else fails see what a bit of dry lube on the door lock button and on the levers etc while do. Might even have to widen the hole for the lock button.

That tends to a common theme here at toowoomba Same with with creeping while sitting at the lights, no not just moving up to and maybe a little over the line, but i've sat behind people that's creeped a car length over the line. And to top it right off when the lights go green they'll stop and sit there for a few seconds till they realise the lights have changed....

Yes and no. Like you'd be wasting your time in fitting a 20v head to the 4a-f block. Where as the big port head wouldn't be so much of a waste of time. All in all you'll be dealing with a crank that can only use a 6 bolt flywheel instead of an 8 bolt flywheel. Unless you swap in a 4ag crank, but then its a case of why bother.....

Performax International (formerly Corvette Queensland) at Gympie has been selling them for a few years now.. Kinda drool when ever we go past the place seeing the duallys sitting the yard and knowing that somewhere is a Prowler sitting there waitting

How To Get The Torque Conv @ Flywheel Off?
towe001 replied to AJC's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Almost, almost the father-in-law was watching the front, i was under the car watching it pour out crying "CRAP, ambers going to shoot me!" trying to lift the box back up to get something under it. While i'm hearing the dreaded words of "keep it coming almost there...." -
Don't have the part number but have you tried cross-referencing the part from other cars that use the same box ? You could also try cross-referencing the part number to see what other cars pop up... That motorspec site is crap in my opinion with signing up - tried and tried and tried again to sign up and i keep getting the same stupid answer "You have to sign up first" or its "You have to log in first".....

How To Get The Torque Conv @ Flywheel Off?
towe001 replied to AJC's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
The only hint and tip i could really say about getting the box out is to make sure you have a couple of bags of kitty litter on hand cause no matter how much auto fluid you think and believe you've drained out of it the garage floor is sure to find more. I'd say about 2-3 litres extra in my case.... -

Yes, there is. I found that one out after i had taken the flex plate off my motor -
All shits and giggles on cruise night

I've also ran a big port 4ag head on a 4afc block for a while. The only differences - water pump, timing belt and pulleys, the manifolds and the flywheel... And from memory the A-series range is all non-interference heads (Except the 20v) And i was told that it wouldn't work cause of the 4af pistons would give the motor a "super" low compression. Still reckon the motor had the same power but better economy after i did it....

The simplest way is of firstly find the centre line of each front wheel and then run a tape measure from one centre line over to the other at the front of the wheel and then do the same for the back of the wheels. Ideally the back of the wheels should be a few mill longer then the front http://www.extremehowto.com/xh/article.asp?article_id=60130 http://www.allpar.com/fix/alignment.html But by far the best way of doing it would be "Simple Strings" which is find the centre line of the car measuring out from that at each end and running a length of string from the front to the back on each side and then taking the measurements from the rims. http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=597192 http://www.smartracingproducts.com/alignment.htm - yours for a hole in your pocket $407.99US. I made mine from 2 lengths of alloy tube, fishing line, two heavy sunkers and two pairs of axle stands.... go figure Google "Simple Strings", "SmartStrings", "wheel alignment" And a bit of info http://www.familycar.com/alignment.htm The only thing to make sure with any of the methods is to make sure the car is on flat level ground.

^^ I used to work with a guy that did that. Reckoned he was sick of the rust in the wheel wells so he poured cement in them..... Would have enjoyed seeing the poor sod behind him when they fell out :) :D
