Dad had the same thing go on his old '55 (back left corner where the drivers seat bolts to the floor). But before that a spring or two in the seat gave out, dad was going to fix the seat but after he worked out that it sat him at the perfect position. But for me at 5'8", if i didn't use a pillow, i could just see over the steering wheel.

Its the same thing i do. Had one of those fork things years ago and stuffed it on its second ball joint. Dug a groove into one of the fingers and bent the other finger outwards, so the tool looked more like "Y" shape. And if ball joint or tie-rod is stuck, my next step is -

Its all bolt up, or at least from what i know. But, you won't get that much of a camber angle cause of the springs being too wide. Ke70 struts (which use a narrower spring) are a bolt in fit, the only thing you'll have to swap over is the top hats (camber plates) but since your wanting to use the cusco camber plates you won't have to bother.

It was a late 80's model. A bit of a bastard love child cause it shared the body with the '81 model ke55 but the interior was a mix of late model '55 and early model '55. It only had two speed wipers, no trip meter on the speedo. No rear sway bar. Its about all i can remember of it. There was a thread a while back on the differences between the '30 and '55, i made a couple of postings in it about the car.

Nope, not all square light '55s had them.

When dad had his old '55 he went to a motorbike shop and had a clutch cable made up. From memory it was half the cost of the toyota item.

From memory its about 5 bucks an hour. Three meals, prison clothes and "lodging" is free but everything else (smokes, toothpaste, body wash stuff, etc) comes out of the pay. And its all full price stuff. No discounts here if your a chain smoker.
