  1. Oi, I use to live near there. But i feel your pain on the place, shuts me to tears when ever i had to go anywhere in or close to the place.
  2. Which part of toowoomba did you move to ? You might have fun hunting up a set of flares for the old girl. Finding some in any condition would be few and far between. From memory there was someone a couple of years back that made them. I'm fairly sure there was a thread a good while back about it.
  3. 7th-8th of may Forgot to put up the prices before And under 5's are free.
  4. T-18 struts will fit the corona steering arms. But you might have clearance issues with the springs and the wheels.
  5. Just about every shop in town here sells it. And quite a few of the Coke brand oddballs Including that god awful TAB stuff. Peanut butter and jello has made a come back, but every time i see it i don't have the money for it....
  6. Ok ok don't worry people I'll go and pick her up.
  7. Something else - if the pedal box doesn't come close to wanting to drop out its cause you've missed a bolt. Hidden up between the brake pedal and the front of the dash, you'll find a hole about the size of a 20cent piece - the bolt is up in there.
  8. No. You'll only have to do it if the box was from the '70.
  9. A touch under 2.5Lt on the g'box. The only part that you'll have to shift out of the road is the steering column. Two 12mm spanners at the steering box. Under the dash you'll have to shift the carpet away from the steering column which you'll find four 12mm bolts. And then its two 14mm nuts at the front of the dash where the column is bolted. And don't forget to unplug the electricals on the column. Onto the pedal box. You'll need to get your head under the dash, on your back with your legs up in the air. You'll need a 12mm socket and a good light, cause a couple of the bolts are hidden away. The only real problem i had was getting the column back through the firewall and all the bolts lined up. I'm positive that i had a photo of where all the bolts are located on the pedal box but i'm stuffed if i can find it :(
  10. I'm a country boy, my personal space is a bit bigger then one step. i agree

  12. When i had the 3k in my '30 it only just made it to 60 and thats with a downhill run. Or might have just been cause of the two speed holding it back :hmm:
  13. The knots are wrong..... Its left over right, right over left.
  14. My biggest enjoyment is loading up unattended trolleys and if the trolleys in the road i just knock it out the road and push past.

  18. You and me both. Phucking pigs of people in food courts at shopping centres. No respect, no common sense or anything. More so the ones that have the bin about 2-3 walking steps away from them and yet they still leave their pig sty of rubbish behind. And its generally these same idiots that bitch about the staff aren't doing their job in cleaning the tables so they'll have somewhere to sit, eat and leave their pig sty behind. Maybe just maybe if the customer had some respect and common sense they'll make the staffs job a bit easier and clean their table a bit before leaving.
  19. Hitachi carbs Their the same as what i've got. http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=Hitachi_Twin_Carb
  20. Going to be heading out to Cressbrook tomorrow and see what its like. I'm starting to wonder if its starting to get a bit too cold for camping now. But Cressbrook does have the firepits and we have a gas heater....
  21. Which type would you be chasing after ? The datto style or SU's ? I have a set of datto carbs that i picked up from Old Fella. Had been planning on using them on the turtle but i'm thinking of going a different direction with efi.
  22. Must know how to suck it pretty good if you still have the job. Most places i know of wouldn't bothered showing you the door - they would have just booted you through any available exit/entry.
