  8. anyone interested in a healthy 3T?? i still got mine from the abandon skid project. gearbox seems to have been spoken for.
  9. wow thats a lot of fuel. how many shot gun noises and cooks does that include? when i had my 4k, id get about 12-14l/100km's that was a max of 80kays on my L's so slower than granny driving! that was about 4000rpm on 80km's (4 speed and completely standard healthy 4k). revved well but was very thirsty with 4ac, weber, electronic ignition, huge cam, exhaust, babying it on highway spec i can get around 7L/100km's. not only that but when i thrash it it uses 11/100km's. also i use premium (95 ron) as it would ping on regular but is actually tuned (by screw driver and ear) to run best on 98 ron ethonal which i get rahter poor economy on, but more power and its cheaper which offsets it. on the ethonal blend id get probaly around 11-12L/100km's but id tend to want to give it a bit more as it run much better and has noticeably more pull.
  10. hoorah 4m auto skids :P
  11. as i said I'm fine with either
  12. you can skip some of those sand paper grit.. just buy 3-4 grits.. 40grit is super coarse, i start off at 80-120 usually then go to 400 then 1200 and if you want a super shiney shine 2000 also if using some sort of electric buffing wheel (bench grinder or drill powered) be careful not to move it too slowly keep the contact area moving even if you use movements like your still sanding it. if you keep buffing in the one spot you will heat the surface of the alloy up and you will make it go dull then no matter how much you buff it it wont come up as shiney as i was unless you sand it over again (with a fine grit).. but you have just wasted a heap of time and effort. also take your time, the more time you put into them the better they will look!
  13. well i do have a set of semi slicks stacked up in my shed... but no 15" rims to put them on.. i had a bit more front end grip but the back was getting sketchy lol ill have new front susy and brakes by then
  14. spotto DAN getting banned on 86dc haha
  15. 18th or 19th is free for me at the moment, its more an issue of time for me as i have to be back at work at 4... which i only just got there on time last time... "bens road" is good fun. wish i had some better tyres so i could push it a bit harder threw there. and more noise for the straits haha.
  16. you going to have a bus? do you think its a bit soon?
  17. WTB: 2jzge auto vvti ecu... (jzx101 chaser and maybe lexus gs300 may work)
  18. the out side edge of where the friction plate/clutch disk contacts the flywheel.. not the actual overal diameter of the fly.. ae71 is a 200mm n/a aw11 and ae92 (smallport 4ag) are 212mm also the 212mm kit wont come with a spigot bearing for the input shaft to back of crank and the FWD gearboxs done use them. but all 4ag's have a allowance for a spigot bearing. the bearing supports the weight of the input shaft and keeps it alligned properly as it is very important
  19. clutch would depend on what flywheel your using... are you using a 200 or 212mm flywheel? 4agze 222mm fly is to big for a t-50, think they MAY fit in a W5* bellhousing.
  20. the blast afterward blew most of the dust off of my car, for the real hardcore fokes haha
  21. any more pics of james cressy??
  22. yeah was bit rank, and stock with rice mods lol i think
  23. didnt i hear you say something about seeing another PV in a paddock?? looks like the tyres tried to gobble some grass... or saving some for "ron" I'm guessing you did a "dan" and bent chassis? if i can help out at all dude let me know. atleast you still have the lux as a daily...
  24. ol PV saw a ditch i heard... indeed best part of the driving was trying to get away from si haha. did you notice if i got any air over the bumps part archy, and trainline? 1x rear tyre stooofed after large bumps put it in the way of the lip of guard.... started slicing the tread off like ham off the bone, if you pull back the tread you can see wire haha. massive good day, keen for another one sometime. maybe without the gravel lol
  25. okay so where the f@$k are we meeting? ill be pushing to get there by 10:30.. hungry jacks? which ones the one nearth the southern outlet or mowbray? call me thick but no one actually "confirmed" it or made if "official" lol
