  1. hhmm, ive rolled 2 paddock bashers so far... hence why i was a little reserved with my driving of dirt on that first day  yes multipl cars would be fun.... if anyone sees a cheap t-18 grab it! 3tc's make the best really motors ever, "soooo much toque the chassis twists coming off the line"..... but all seriosness, they are heaps fun for rally, don't die in the arse as much as a 4k, how ever you can just take the windscreen out and 80km's feels like your flying!
  2. i will assist in fixing in exchange for thrashing
  3. not a rolla but spotto a suzuki ALTO, looked like a "works" one near new norfolk
  4. gilly has a PV 1 piece tailshaft... i think they suit s-series diffs though. and dude, i thought you had a t-series diff? so you need a front half sprinter and rear half t-series...
  5. i ment, they would prob hear a gun shot go off....
  6. i thought the celica version t-series was actually wider than t-18 oh and i have confirmed that the rumour that series 2 t-18 diffs are DO NOT have kouki axels. you can get after market LSDs for under $1200, hell i sell them for under that! factory ones are better than an open wheeler and obviously done wear like a mechanical one does. but rebuild kits are only about 200 for an aftermarket one. hopefully when the commercial section gets back up and running ill be in it :P
  7. know where you can borrow a gun? hear the alarm go off, rattling a shot in the air will make them move fairly quick ay. just find some random ke70 and steal the chrome strips. very few people woukld actually have alarms like you.. joking. you can buy that chrome stripping new. my ke just has black rubber all the way arround, no chrome.
  8. umm buy he wheels that fit ay.. well consider this for a minute, i have jap wheels with a small positive offset. they are still resonably priced without being taxed insanely. now yes they do fit okay as they are but they don't fill my flared guards.. now i could sell them and spend $800 on another pair or i can simply use some bolt on spacers that i have sitting here nice and handy. which option seems to make the most sence? overly expensive negative offset wheels or wheels that already fit hence they only need 25mm bolt on spacers. philby i think your where thinking slip on spacers. depends on how thick the wheel is from nut to hub. i have cheviots which haev a really thick part from nut to the hub and i also have some starsharks which have a very small thickness. it just another way for the manufacturer to add a bit more offset to the wheel i guess also i don't think that spacers are for everyone, mums and dads who just want a set of mags on there car don't need them, but someone who is trying to get more track, aesthetics or that actually work on there car then they maybe an option to look at.

  13. saulsbury?? all of the sedans came with a borgwaner.. i have a t-series diff. after $300 for it, located in the hobart area too. t-series are substancially stronger than the standard ke70 diff and bolt in. PM me if your interested
  14. oh shit i forgot about it :y:
  15. wooow, yeah maybe not for me either... but dirt would love it  bad enough on a smooth road for drift bounce.
  16. i more ment the shed space lolz
  17. any chance of using down stairs facilities if its raining/shitty weather?
  18. i can vouch for dirt's surprising pokieness... only thing is that fuel smell, i got a headache on the way back to launceston after the thrash day . only thing was i was wondering why i was having a bit of troble doing circle work, i thought it had a locker, apparently not. but fun none the less... hhmm, i may have to bring the keto out, but I'm a bit worried that it wont pass scrutenering. it is a bit noisy and i have a bucket seat without any ADR sticker? but yeah, get some more definite prices if you could? i don't have a CAMS and I'm not a club member....
  19. you have a 1jz in a ke55...? anyway.. id be putting either a complete irs set-up from a s13 or similar into it. seeing as you would have to make mounts for the trailing arms to run a conventinal live axle. or alternatively you could grad yourself a tarago/hilux diff, convert to trailing arms and grab some s13 rear coilovers, (the actual coilover part would be the easiest.
  20. yeahh i guess that will have to do
  21. anyone know of any xt130's around????
