  1. S2/gt style lights/grill look way hotter than ke70 lights/grill!
  2. took a quick vid mostly to show off the limpyness of my cam... made some resent purchouses. a ramflow filter and i have a adjustable cam gear in the post. need to make up a new front half of an exhaust and shave the head then dyno tuning
  3. yeah sure thing, you still live at CAI? let me know what time you want me there. do you need wheels ? ive got some chunky tyres which would be goof for steering PM me
  4. yeah that sounds like a fair time.. am i still right to come with you si?
  5. i think he is thinking the same as me, closing down, often means closing down sale... its better to get rid of stock in a short amount of time than to string it out and end up with a heap of gear that you can't move at times.
  6. are we still up for next weekend....?? I'm keen to go with you si, so far my calendar is free still
  7. nah potato gun that you have to light and shit, they would be the shizel! maybe we should get some for our little outing
  8. does anyone have a t-series crown wheel and pinion in descent condition?
  9. i figured that a j-pipe would restrict flow a little but at the end of the day it should be plenty enough responsive...
  10. what wheels? was there surpsoed to be a pic as well? is that a ke55 sedan? te71 etc??? need size, width, offset buddy more than a pic or brand. also it will depend on your tyre sizes.
  11. yep should be, also id think you would find even something like a c160 (i think) from a 20v with factory lsd would bolt upto a 16v
  12. yeah i saw that.. ill prob just go with a j-pipe :) how much better is a proper turbo manifold (like this one) than a j-pipe power wise, i don't care if it looks better lol. also don't forget thats stainless, much harder to work with than mild steel
  13. if you don't want that then steer away from a fart can yeah 2" from the manifold back will provide a perfomance gain, ask for a "sports" muffler. should give a nice note for a daily without being too loud. typically you will get a drone if you have straight pipe or a cannon/fart can (one that you see on excels that looks like a milo tin). i have 2" with a resonator and muffler around the middle then 2.25" straight pipe the rest of the way which makes it quite loud, prob quite a bit more than is legal.
  14. mate of mine has just built a 4ag with wiseco forgies. not a problem yet around 11.5-1 compression with a std headgasket. my uncle has been using wiseco pistons in his race bikes for years. they are a good alternative to the uber expensive brands such as toda etc. i can't comment on the rods.
  15. could it vary depending on what carb you have??^^^
  16. rollaclub FAQ/tech section, check it out.. info is right here http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...ont_Disc_Brakes
  17. it was enough to notice more scrubbage one one side than the other with stock guards :)
  18. seeing as your going to so much effort, i would have went to a weber :)
  19. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=21528 wheels, ae86 ps arms, few other random bits...
  20. send me a PM with location to, I'm quite interested to see where? oh and I'm still keen but yeah, i don't have a appropriate car to use for dirt duties :) 30-40mins north of lanceston.. will damn near be in the water? lol
  21. i have seen rear r31 set-ups put onto hilux diffs that have been in ae71/ae86. there are much easier upgrades such as corona, and ra60 celica which are fairly close to bolt in.
  22. i have flared guard that where done with plier a hammer and a dolly. they also need new sections of metal put in them because like many ke70's they had rust. so in this way i had done it the proper way, just the same as a body works would have done. only thing is that i have not yet bothered to paint them because ill probaly respray the whole car when i can aford the materials. little bits and pieces on ym car and mates cars has given me experience. some people perfure to buy/pay rather than do it yourself. I'm not one of these people. do you wish to see the done at home work?
  23. gspec, I'm not sure what the difference in bolting mods on at home in your own shed and having a mechanic do it.. yes people do, do dodgy mods but if mods are done properly why can someone do them at home ffs. i don't have thousands to spend every time my car needs maintance, id perfur to do everything myself so that i know that its been done properly. or if something is on the way out and i have not been able to replace it, I'm well aware of the problem. i do agree with the other things you have said though. a lot of dodgy examples that seem to be over priced, sometimes you just need to sit back and have a chuckle to yourself because the seller is wondering why its not selling. but then again, if you want to sell something quick then you would tend to put a lower price on it, if I'm not really fussed on selling something then i put a higher price on it.
  24. you can usually fine used parts without too much hassel......
