hopefully the modified centre holes aren't far off centre doing it that way and cause vibrations if you are still going to locate them off the hug ring they don't have to be far off at the rpm wheels can be spinning
-
did i hear that right ? die grinding centre hole of wheels out to fit larger hub ring so no hubcentric ring for the wheels anyomore?
-
no back pressure after the turbo is the best thing for a turbo so thats not the problem sounds like a silly question but is the boost gauge hooked up right to a boosted pipe? try braking and accelerating at the same time to load it up and make some boost without flying up the road
-
thanks , spent alot of time designing/fabricating it to be perfect , pretty happy with how it turned out
-

Buying My First Mig Welder, What To Look For?
indelible replied to megamannz123's topic in Automotive Discussion
speedgas sell them through gasweld stores too if you are near one i got a d size bottle for $390 initial purchase cost and refills are $90(expensive at first but then only need to pay again when you run out of gas instead of yearly rental or however they do it) do as much research as you can on what others have bought/ had problems with i have a toolex mig from gasweld and it didn't work well untill i modified the feed mechanism and trigger in the torch/gun so look for solid brackets on feed wheels and decent torch/gun that doesn't feel cheap something like this look ok for the price and will be more then enough power http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Unimig-Mig-Welder-180-amps-KMM180-/291035974034?pt=AU_Welding&hash=item43c3188992&_uhb=1 -
Buying My First Mig Welder, What To Look For?

i recommend getting a gas one , you will have much better results not sure about nz but in aus you can buy gas bottles from speedgas and no rental fees , just cheap refills you need to work out how thick the the thickest material you intend on welding will be and then get one with more then enough amps i have a 160amp mig and it struggles with full penetration on anything over 3mm or so but if you can v groove and weld both sides 5-6mm is doable don't need experience either just get some scrap to mess around with untill you work it out -
so all states including NSW use NCOP now? cannot find anything on NSW rta/ roads and maritime website saying this but only the same old vsi for light vehicle modifications or was this just mentioned for QLD origin of original poster?

that gold bracket goes under the nut on the mounting stud on top of the carby base in the corner with the small notched part down to stop it rotating then throttle cable connects to slotted end hope that helps its hard to explain and can't find any pics on the net for you
-
sounds more like he meant 2100cc forced induction and 2500cc n/A to me as that would be about right sounds way too low otherwise whats a ke70 weigh?
-
sweet project there, will definitely go crazy when running any reason you went with a low mount manifold? seems there is alot more room there for highmount , just curious

well i ran a screamer on my jzx100 for about 2 years without any problems but had the option of plumbing it back if i got in trouble anyway
-
thanks guys , doogs the gate pipe will be made with v band flanges to plumb back or go atmo easily. don't think the engine mounts will bend/break any time soon as they are 5mm steel hahahaha
