  1. Nice ride. I have a ke55 sedan in the shed here which has plenty of rust but thats ok as i have plenty of time. the ke35 got stripped back to bare metal and had new sills, new spare wheel well etc all fabricated. They're old cars so expect a bit of rust. 7 inch wide wheels should fit, my wheels on the ke35 are 14x7 with 185/55/14 tyres. i've run it with 1 inch spacers before as well. Looked great but scrubbed the tyres plenty even with the flared guards.
  2. is this the rolla thats usually at langs yatala? if so.....clean as!!!!
  3. Keep it clean, keep it simple. Retain the 3k/4k engine they're fairly hard to kill, Put flares on and some suitable old school rims (hotwires tridents spitfires etc). DON'T put new style big wheels on it's just not right! Lower it of course and enjoy. My ke35 is clean and simple and i reckon it looks great
  4. get a tube of gasket goo. easy no fuss and works great.
  5. If you want to fit them then do it! find the wheels you want and MAKE THEM FIT! stretch the tyres, roll the guards, get some flares, shim the bottom bolts on the front guards do whatever it takes but don't forget to upload pics!
  6. couple of bits of thick flat bar usually does the trick. cut off or unbolt original rails, drill holes in flat bar and bolt to rails, line up mounts on seat, drill holes in flat bar and mount seat. And don't forget to use nylock nuts when you bolt it all in :) Wouldn't worry about certification or anything just for seats it's a waste of money in my opinion.
  7. If i can drift a filthy old liteace van with a 1c diesel then you can drift a stock ke70 no dramas. Just don't de-spring it as the ride is NASTY!
  8. i'm a lover of using flat bar, rough and ready, drill holes and mount lengthways to vehicle mounts, raise gearbox, mark holes, drill and mount. done!!!

  10. Yeah used some random "bolt on" flares that were floating round the shed, pop riveted them to the guards, used fibreglass to get the rounded look and filler to blend it all in. Very happy with the result
  11. Did a rougher setup in nz, used a daihatsu charade turbo carby and a primary turbo off a twin turbo legacy/liberty, just welded up a dodgy looking manifold. hooked up an injector running off a pressure switch and away it went. Good luck with your search!
  12. Get some bolt on flares and mould them on and paint over they look fantastic. If you do it right they almost look stock. If the photo loads here's how mine looks
  13. Wrx seats just weld them onto your existing rails
