  1. pick the wheels you want, fit them to the car, measure from the tyre to the guard and get the springs reset by that much.
  2. rust is easily fixed. do it. ke30s are great and the k motors take a hell of a beating before they give up

  6. i got a whole set of doors, bumpers and a guard off gumtree for $80, not new but a bit of sanding and filling and the doors are great. Just repair your doors unless they are really badly damaged/rusted out
  7. this is with 14x7 wheels unsure of offset, 185/55/r14 tyres, lowered with molded flares
  8. someone on here probably has a spare one, i've had motorbike tanks reconditioned so surely there's a mob out there to do car tanks?
  9. don't bother trying to fit ke20 parts, just put some flares on it and blend them in they look great

  14. nevermind about the timing? sounds like a timing or valve/tappet setting issue, if the clearances are set too tight when cold it can affect running as they change once warmed up
  15. my ke35 has a very angry kelford cam in it, i've had to advance the timing a lot just to get it to start
  16. sounds like sender is giving funny readings. also if you have low coolant it would create this problem

  18. if you are worried add a bottle of methylated spirits to the tank. it gets rid of the water, makes the fuel look a bit milky but does the trick
  19. someone on here has probably got a good manifold cluttering up their shed?
  20. clean the carb bowl with brake cleaner and fill the bowl up with that when reassembling. best change the fuel filters while you're at it
  21. with 3 doors missing you won't even need air con!!!
  22. i got orange coby ones in nz they bolted straight on, fir well with no modifications needed. Paid $200 NZD off a mate for the extractors and a lumpy kelford cam.
