1969 SPRINTER

If you are driving while its dark with a digital tacho, sometimes they can be annoying with all the LEDs pointing at your face. My mates HZ ute bushbasher has a dash I made out of sheet metal in it and the tacho is like a torch in your face at night. Not the we drive at night (no headlights lol) But the digi tachos are pretty good otherwise. Some of them come in pretty colours that you can match to your car as well.

Looks like an awesome project car! what has always puzzled me are the lights underneath the bumper. On my car they are parking lights not indicators. Are indicators for a different model or something?

yeah, it sucked. But i'm taking whole car to pnelbeater anyways so its not quite as bad. just more money going rowards her. OH WELL shit happens i spose. ;)

Happened on friday the 13th funnily enough,

something horrible just happened today... Was turning my car backwards and uphill to get her facing downhill so petrol could run to the motor, when BAM! my driver's side door starts bending backwards on the star picket stuck in the ground around a tree. after I stopped bawling, had a loook at the damage and it MAY be able to be fixed. hoorray for making stupid mistakes! More money i'll have to start spending on her soon. Door on my parts car is rusty, but usable. Dad assures me shit happens and I guess there is no point worrying about it too much. Might post pictures, but don't hold your breath. Be sure to leave a comment telling me I am an idiot. ;(

Oh yeah, another thing i forgot to mention, The exhaust! look at the third picture up! Has extractors, but need bending or something. also has a small hole just before the muffler so it sounds like a rally car! :gurgler: :P:

OMG IT WORKED!!!

Thought I'd show all my Car. Only gets driven up n down the driveway, ---for now. CAR: 1969 KE15 ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: Original but the transmission isn't... dunno what it's from though.4 spd manual. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES: Has different shocks in the rear, (again, dunno what) but apart from that it's all stock. WHEELS AND TYRES: Stock? they are a little wider than the ones on the white one, as well as they have the dress hubcaps on them. INTERIOR: by the looks of things, stock. apart from a tacho from Kmart, and the floormat is a bit stuffed. BODY: needs some slight panelbeating on front guards, but all good otherwise. OTHER: dunno what the original colour was, if it was the bright red or the marone. Since the photos have been taken, I've taken off the spotlights, polished the chrome, and fitted a great big ariel almost as tall as the car itself!!! ;)

Time 4 an update! Took off the stupid (not working) spotlights, pumped up the tyres to prevent driveway disaster, Fitted an overly large ariel, polished all the chrome, Got an over expensive car cover and (finally) got some more fuel! but exhaust is still buggered (hangs low) *snuck her onto the road briefly* drives awesomely only on the road for a roll start by the way ;) Got some more cash recently too, sooooooo soon will be getting a few more things!! (Panel beating? Mags?) been driving a bit, am waiting so bad to get my licence, so I can drive my beauty! Having trouble with pics, will keep trying.

I picked this wheel up for $40, and it will suit the red dash nicely!

The Dash, In fairly good nick, got the special steering wheel, but no tacho. :(
