hell if it costs THAT much to do a rally/race car in oz I'm never gunna move there. over here, for $10k you can build a damn good car... especially if your talking ke70! of course buying one already done is cheaper, but if you don't have to pay for labour building one can be done for under $10k easy ke70 $200-800 cage $800-1000 (full manz spec) seats $6-800 harnesses $150-300 each terratrip $250-450 2nd hand 4age $1200 (rebuilt 20v) link ecu $12-1800 gearbox $1000 w5# and bellhousing diff $1500 hilux lsd. shocks $1500 coilovers theres the bulk of it..... and those are imflated prices, shop around and scrounge and you will find cheaper

no the whole lower bracket is different.... the pully on the waterpump sits out further... so alternator is mounted differently to align the pulleys

not sure how tough the 3sge is... its all in the tuning though!

hey done some more lookng into this.... you can slap the s/c gear on to an n/a 4age no worries.... id go for the bigport though. the aw11 I'm buying has an n/a blutop thats had ae92 gtz s/c and ecu put on it, faster than 4agze casue of the extra compression :D

nope cheap water pump (includes rear housing) is like $85 alt bracket is $100ish. a lot cheape rthan people try and sell them 2nd hand for! remember who the leet parts guy is! :D

or if you want th leet ae86 look... i can do new genuine waterpump and alternator brackets..... :D

yeah carbs i can understand, a late model EFI wont coke up unless theres something wrong. you shoud be able to nana it for its entire life with no coking problems....

the 3sgte is iron block, and can handle a shit load of power..... theres forged internals avail for them, but you need to be pushing 4-500hp to need them! the 3sgte has been proven to be a lot stronger stock than the sr20. the only reason the sr20 is so popular is you can buy it with a rwd gearbox. whereas the 3sgte need a bit of work to convert to rwd and people are lazy. theres more to hp than big ports....

ok: 1 wasteing time and money with a t50 behind even a stock 4agze 2 ANY w5# box will do. look at the ratios for what suits 3 palmside are $$$$ and they buy it off me in the firts place! the cost of the bellhousing will be offset by what you could get for your bellhousing, a-t bellhousings are GOLD. an ae86 t50 is worth a bit too

yeah maybe, but that much extra carbon is not a good sign.... with a modern engine it should NEVER coke up. an old k series maybe.. but not a new efi engine
