  6. I had a little setup running a mower engine. It wasn't fully closed loop, but I'd say it had about a 75% return... I think if you applied the technology to a conventional car engine you may need one extra battery to get the same range as a full tank of dino-juice, but still... plug it in to recharge when you're not using it and you've at least got (almost) free fuel on your conventional combustion engine...

  8. The model codes (ae102 etc.) are the same, but there are a few slightly different variations in headlights over there... best to check against an actual picture of the exact lights you are buying.
  9. Not impossible at all, but a pain in the arse... You'll need to find a complete wreck with all the required bits, and swap them over. Complete steering rack pwr steer pump and bracket associated pulleys and belts (they're different) fluid reservoir fluid lines And yes the wreckers is your best bet.
  10. The tail lights are just spray tint.... most common is stuff called "night shades" As for the Halo lights, you'll have much better luck finding them on ebay USA. Shipping won't cost as much as you think, and the exchange rate is awesome right now. :P

  18. I suspect somebody was perhaps absent from more than this forum... You were out in the desert necking Peyote juice again, weren't you... PS: I know what you're looking for, and It's NOT Jim Morrison
  19. Hate is such a strong word to use when describing your feelings toward the humble sandwich... But actively hating them, you're already giving them too much of your energy. Instead of "hate" I would suggest maybe "disliking" or even being "indifferent" towards cheese sandwiches. Its a long journey of forgiveness you are about to embark on, but I believe that in time, you will come to appreciate that even cheese sandwiches have a place in this world... and although nobody would expect you to include them into part of your daily diet, I'd like to imagine you have the fortitude and resolve to be able to move forward in life and grow as an induvidual, free of the cheese sandwich burden you bear. Go now in peace, Jarad
  20. Its simple physics. Mind you, the Integra and Civic type R's are admittedly a bucketload of fun... its like being a kid who's had too much red cordial :lolcry:

Don't worry Des, I'm sure you'll find something else to break soon enough... :)
  24. Thats pretty serious, but anything can be fixed! Luckily it is a 4 door, which are plentiful over here. I'm sure someone on this forum would be able to send you some new lower door sections to weld in. There's no rust in the roof, so thats good. I would suggest (if you have storage space) take the car home and strip it down to check for rust in the frame. If there's none, I would say that it is fixable. It would be a big project, but I've seen worse :)
  25. Hmm yeah I've also become a legitimate licensed motor dealer and Japanese importer since this thread started... I has a trade plate  Dodgy used car salesman ftw :)
