  1. I'm easy. As long as you give me some decent notice i should be able to organise both of mine there (if not the blue one is more original looking).
  2. Great pics mate! Really digging the shiny new tip and system :D You should let me know when you are going to take some happy snaps and make a mini meet up/photoshoot.
  3. Great to hear you're recovering well mate. Hayashi streets are the sh*t, congrats on the purchase :D
  4. Got some work done on Graham today after driving him around for the past couple of weeks. I ordered new flexible brake pipes for the front along with wheel bearings and seals and got some time to fit all these this afternoon. As everything was off i took the time to machine the discs as well. I have some crappy phone pics for you guys to see and hopefully some better quality shots over the easter weekend. Matt.
  5. Great work Adam. I was waiting for you to finally make a rides thread for it on here. It truly looks superb and a job well done. Best of luck sorting out those engine issues.
  6. If this goes ahead it shall be as EPIC as the roads!
  7. Id be up for this. I love winter... and driving on cold days gives me an extra 99 killerwasps!
  8. Good score! I say leave it bone stock and source a 4ac and 5 speed for it (should be nice and cheap too!). Don't sell it to a hack whatever you do.
  9. Haha. Nah mate all i wanted to do was tighten up the front end as it is a daily now. Not really interested in sacrificing the easy to drive factor for the sake of high speed stability. UPDATE New gearnob and steering wheel are in. You guys should find these tasty when i upload some pics.
  10. Solid progress Johno, top stuff >| I think for the strip to stay on the front bar would have to be black (plactic colour) too. As Trev said it looks good in your avatar so up to you. Now get this thing on the road! matt.
  11. Nah mate I know the KE38 wags you speak of as it sometimes visits my street. This was a fresh one i have never seen before and was a sedan.
  12. Thanks mate. It's quite fun to drive and pulls great up high in the rev range. The only drawback to the 7K is that there is no torque in comparison and you really have to have it in the right gear. I found this out on the cruise on Sunday while going up a long drawn out hill! Also on the cruise on Sunday the bottom radiator hose decided to expand and settle in as such and have the alternator fins chew through it. Managed to get some cable ties off BlindKidSeeks (andy) and move it away to get me home. Problem is sorted now as i fitted a shorter belt and got a new hose with adjusted position :no2: After the cruise on Friday Graham was really dirty, so he got a wash then a nice polish. Bonnet half polished (check out the difference!)
  13. Haha. Good effort mate. I harassed some old bloke in a bronze '55 in Brunswick today. Was not interested in the car he was driving at all :no2: Gave it my best though!
  14. loving your work mate. As for the tricky bit on the bonnet if it is bothering you now then it will increasingly bother you more and more when it's painted. Just from my experiance :no2: great to see you making more and more progress all the time. keep going champ!
  15. Absolutely brilliant pics and vid champ! Love your work :no2:
  16. Thanks guys. I WILL be there at around 7:30pm.
  17. Hells yeh! Nice find Alex, i'm now drooling...
  18. Took Graham on his maiden cruise today with the guys from TOCAU. Here are some happy snaps.
  19. Bahahahahahahaha. Just teaching them good reactions and launches no doubt :P This sounds too good to pass up. How many entrants are expected Adam?
  20. Unfortunately i was at a mates house with no garage or car port. But the hailstones in my area were more the size of a Cool overrated and Graham was fine. Remember this is classic Toyota metal :P
  21. You're more than welcome anytime mate. Was intending on polishing and givving the interior a good once over today but this god damn downpour of rain dirtied my freshly washed car. TWICE! Maybe if we get some better weather later on in the weekend.
  22. **UPDATE** Car is finally on the road. Got the catch can done today. Ended up settling on a 'supershit auto' one. As i really wanted to drive it this weekend rather than taking ages to save up for an awesome one. Photos to follow tomorrow afternoon after i detail graham to my standards :P But for now here's an engine bay shot from my phone. P.S I love driving this machine!
  23. Thanks again Si. They look pretty good too but i'm kind of hoping to get one either today or tomorrow so that i can go cruising on Sunday! Don't worry i never buy cheap crap for my cars off ebay >| UPDATE Today i got the brakes sorted out. Complete fluid flush and bleed. Also adjusted the pedal box throw. Now have perfect brake feel :hmm: Catch can and wheel alignment is up next.
  24. Damn. Already waiting on it from Autobarn, just seemed easiest option as it's a 10 min drive. Thanks anyway mate.
  25. Thanks for that Si. It made me feel uncomfortable too (hence my lack of reply). Hunting for a tasteful catch can at the moment while also not costing me an arm and a leg. This is proving difficult. Open to suggestions
