If you are already running a k-series motor then it shouldn't be an issue as the block is only marginally wider and taller.

I really don't have any decent photos of the sump mods. As you can't really see it behind the crossmember. Basically you just have to scallop the sump around the crossmember on the passenger side.

Hells yeh Poz. Loving how neat your work is. I think the brass fitting in the back of the head is a perfect idea and should prove pretty effective at draining excess oil. Can't wait to see the final product!

Haha I love the responses with regards to the ke25. The car was hammered before it was ever paddock bashed. Full of structual rust and had been sitting in the yard for many years before yesterday. There will be some parts from it up for sale soon I think. Everyone getting upset about wrecking corolla's are over reacting. Not one of the paddock bombs has ever been in a condition where it would be worth saving. Can't wait for the next session of destruction!

Any other K motor sump will not bolt up to a 7k motor. The block is marginally wider and higher. You will be able to use your existing mounts and will need to 'scallop' the sump to clear the crossmember.

Good find Luke. Now the EGR plug makes proper sense. It wasn't so much a headache from the 21st it was more the time I got home, could have gotten changed and gone straight to C,C & D! As for Sandown on Saturday the car was perfect as was the weather. Sunny and no rain with cold air for extra killerwasps. Had plenty of tracktime and no incidents to boot! I only have one pic that kehendo took. Matt.
