You might be able to make up a uni to get you by, use two of the other sized caps on one of the unis if the bearing shaft is the same size on both. That's how we used to get 9" ford diffs in holdens back in the olden days.

Yep sure did!! They are 258mm dia and were stamped 22mm(thickness) which makes them the AE-92 GTI hatch. The brake upgrade threads on other forums also say the the AE-9x SX seca had the same disk but the hatch had the smaller disks.

Oops got mixed up on the rotors that webers runs they are GTI!! My bad. Yes the superstrut arr the later model ones, just had a brain fade!!

It's always the little things that bite you on engine conversions!! Master cylinder reservoir to manifold clearance was my main drama with the FJ in dads 1600!! Can you not just change the rear flange over for the time being? You'd probably need it rebalanced though(around $80). I'm very much enjoying the speed these(Willis, it'sADMyo, dvr11k and yourself) 4A conversions are going at. It's like a little battle to see who gets the next update up!! Keep up the good work!!!

Just fold the backing plate back to clear the bigger disk. I'll measure webers disk dia this weekend as there were a couple of different ones from memory. But yeah pretty much bolt up and dirt cheap.

Ah fair enough. It does look sweet as it is. I don't like the bars all colour coded they need something to brake up all that colour. You might find some of the upgrades your looking for soon. I know of a ae82 that in the words of carbonboy is going "to have the Viking treatment". The suspension and brakes off the donor car will be sold. GTI superstrut setup. But if you want new stuff? Bazda's coilovers are cheaper than buy the sealed struts, springs and sway bars from Peders. Also I can't recommend the sv21 caliper and ae92 GTI rotor combo!! Webers4x48's seca stops on a 5c piece now.

Try "Vinney's bumper bars" in dandenong. Their work is very, very high quality!! Highly recomended, I know they do ally stuff. Or try an electroplater nearer to you that do the more automotive plating, they might be able to do it or know who definatly can.
