  1. The manifold is a Lynx jobbie that you can buy off the shelf. The Carbs are Dellorto DHLA40's, purchased at vast expense off Jamie, then sent to "The Man" in Redcliffe. One day soon they'll go on the Dwarf. Probably just before the Qld Challenge....
  2. what, like these? :) :S :D
  3. I think you need to get out more.... :)

Reason for retirement was supplimentry viewing holes in block, followed by short lived BBQ, I believe.... :)

It is with great sadness that I report that Datgirl and co, in the help.org.au skyline gtr (car 835) have had to retire from Targa with terminal engine failure. :) :D Still, she had two and a half days of excessive speed. I'm sure she will give a report when she gets back... R

I got an SMS from the Targa Tart today..... She had just had a photo taken with Jim Richards, and was getting a lift from Parc Ferme to Drivers briefing with Coral Taylor. :) I think she maybe enjoying herself.. :D First stage is tomorrow.. R
  9. I'm slipping away...........
  10. 3TG powered KE25. This thing is a rocket. I knew the car when it was in Victoria and was painted orange, and was road registered. It was fast then, and it's quicker now.
  11. Fun day had by most. As we scientifically removed one of the front wheels off the Dwarf last weekend, I was reduced to driving a Datsun. Made even better by the fact that the owner was not there to see me drive it! :D (Thanks Datgirl!) As much as I hate to admit it, the Redatto was a hoot to drive. God, I never thought I'd say that. It stuck to the road like glue, and has more balls than a Keno barrel. It may be enough to turn me to the Dark Side! :)

Somebody's off to Targa Tas tomorrow!! Who could that be? (........ Yes Mel, there's mean't to be a wheel there.......) IMG_5781.jpe
  13. Unless the 2004 manual says something different, there is nothing illegal about plastic fire ext. brackets. I have two, I have been told that I should change to metal, at which time I advise them that Chubb Fire recommend plastic, especially in cars due to vibration and chaffing.... Back to the three wheeled Corolla....... R
  14. What size SU's, and what needles are you running in them? They're really finicky with what needles are installed on them. If they're 1 1/4 Su's, they maybe a bit small. Once they're sorted, they're a great carb though. Location?? R
  15. I'm too scared to work out what the Dwarf owes me..... :D

  19. Redwarf replied to Teddy's topic in QLD / Brisbane
I will be there, unfortunately close to 1900hrs due to work commitments. I WILL BE THERE THOUGH!!!! Not going for a central meeting place?
  20. Redwarf replied to Teddy's topic in QLD / Brisbane
Hi guys, Just wanting to confirm time and meeting place for tonight, or will we just aim to be there about 10 mins early? (trust me, early is good..) Cheers R

Okay Guys, the Dwarf is back. Put me down as comfirmed, I can do the 20th. Teddy/ Grim, do you want me to drop off any cash?? R
  23. Ehhh, thought we might like to rid ourselves of some of those damn Datto's... :| Thanks for putting that up Fook. :)
  24. We have........ VIDEO!!!!!! from the weekend! Fook, if I send it to you, can you edit/ post for me? A bit past my skills, I'd probably put it somewhere I shouldn't....
  25. There is actually such a thing as having the handbrake adjusted up too tight. I keep the rear drums on the Dwarf slackened off somewhat, in order to have handbrake "on tap". This sacrifices pedal somewhat, but means I have handbrake when required. I know Coln in melb had the same problem. Just a thought. (Apologises for going OT :| )
