  1. +1 Went to get an update on the wagon on Monday, Still waiting on a part from the engineer(3 weeks later) ended up taking the half started trigger wheel home and finishing it off my self, so hopefully this should fix it ready for the next cruise. Thanks again for the great day Mick and everyone else :lolcry: Cheers Dan
  2. Well I had a great day, so much more motivated to get the wagon up to a better standard. But why did everyone take photos of the bad side of my rolla  edit: Nice pics mate :) Cheers Dan
  3. if all else fails and you destroy it.......new fuel cap
  4. All I've done with my wagon is take the short fat (load/towing leaf) off the bottom of the pack and flip it over on top of the pack. It flattens the hole pack out a bit.
  5. You could try this?
  6. Don't worry about the rain.............worry about the snow :lolcry: Almost lost a wheel today....... still coming tho Leaving Lithgow macca's around 10:30........3k power........prolly should leave now :y:
  7. Thanks guys, Got everything working now except the interior light but that's not a big deal. I cleaned up all of the earth connections which helped, then there was a dodgy connection for the number plate lights (the connector that splits off to the 2 lights) the wire had broken off inside the rubber boot but looked like it was still connected. L/H blinker wasn't flashing, (staying on) so I split the casing to see what was happening. One of the mechanisms was sticking but worked with a little help. A bit of sticky tape to hold it down and everything seems to be working as it should. I don't have the front blinkers/parkers and it doesn't seem to affect the rest of the lights. Cheers Dan
  8. Hahahahaha........a garden blower! I love it :lolcry:
  9. Thanks for the quick response guys, I'm going to get some contact cleaner and go over everything connections wise and check all the earths too. I do have a multimeter but it's at my old mans place so I'll grab that too, as for the manual which one's are the best? I know there's a few brands that vary slightly in there layout. Would something like this do considering mines a 76 model, close enough or better of with the early model manual? Gregorys ke55 manual Cheers Dan
  10. Hi.... I've been playing with this thing for the last few days and can't work it out. The car is missing the front blinkers/parker's but I don't now if there needed to complete the circuit? D/S blinkers work (rear & side) P/S rear blinker works (side blinker not working) Number plate lights not working at all Head lights, tail lights and brake lights work, but when the head lights are on the P/S blinker comes on and stays on (rear only) Just wondering if there's a common fault/easy fix, or just something I should be checking. I've had a poke around with a dodgy test lamp with no real success. I spliced the no# plate light wires into a hot wire (parker's?) in the boot that had power but still no love. No idea what to try so any suggestions would be appreciated :P Cheers Dan

  25. Well......over a month has gone by and my wagon is still at the shop :D Had to have the dizzy modifed to run with the Autronic ecu, then had to have the ecu modded as well with a Dwell moduel/sensor? which took ages to turn up. With a bit of stuffing around it was running again last I herd and still needing to be tuned. Last night at my bro in laws birthday I was chating to this pissed mate of his about mechanics and shit. Told him my car was at this particular workshop and he was like: Pissed bloke: Is it a corolla? Me: Yeah. Pissed bloke: A white one? Me: Yeah. Pissed bloke: The wagon? Me: Yeah. Pissed bloke: Thats your car! Me: Yeah :) Turns out he was at the work shop next door (the shop that done the machine work for me) when they heard it spool up an dump they had to have a look. The dude was blown away by this little wagon on the dyno that was pushing out 220rwhp :P: Made my day, the guy couldn't get over it. So it would seem that all is going well at this stage, getting worried about the bill but the guy doing it loves it and the longer he has it there the less he seems to charge. I'll up-date when it's home again if all goes well. Cheers Dan
