  1. Eh? I don't see any pictures! Good points though.
  2. possibly with a industrial sized tub of KY jelly on the tyres? Seemed to get a dying forklift to bag up  But seriously why would you want to anyway?

I'm thinking of possibly having the strip higher as not to clash with the front flare? I like the strip too as it makes the car look longer.

Course I'm debadging the boot :sob: But only when it comes time for paint, could be 12 months off at this stage though. If i was keeping the stocker/granny look i would keep them but since shes way off in a different direction it would much cleaner totally debadged and with the strips removed.
  5. Sure do, the flare arch sits higher than the standard arch when mounted in correct position. Unless you mount them lower (i have, although i still have cut my guards).
  6. Yay get some quality fronts for that car its deserves it. A wonderful car for a sound system.
  7. A dry day would of made for a much better result. I'm happy to take some photos in the near future, just name the place and time!
  8. Here we go! I like the bumpers the way they are actually. The only other thing that i think would look really good is possibly clear indicators for the front (if their available?). Looks ABSOLUTELY PIMP by the way. Sell her to me!

Ha! someone else has noticed my habit of angled shots. Its a bad habit i know, in the case of these photos i have angled the shot to exclude certain things from the photo. Next plans are nothing special, i venturing into business commitments at the moment so i am at a lack of money. Visually I'm having the superlites polished and I'm adding a front lip in the next couple weeks. Mechanically I'm probably just putting in a 5 speed for now to make it a little more practical on the highway everyday. Then in roughly 12months I'm going to put a 4age in her, nothing special but would make it a nice daily driver, a 13BT which would be immensely more fun wouldn't be super practical for my 2 hours of driving a day! Who says i don't have any scrubbing issues? Being that my springs are flipped (yay) i do scrub on very shape turns (at speed) because of the rear wheels hitting the inner flare. Front no problems.
  10. Ok, you win haha
  11. Well actually i made it to the hill, then got stuck in mud there, so i though i better turn back before i get bogged, then as i was pulling off the road it went all wrong!

Took a couple photos today while i was at my grandpa's farm. Car was kinda dirty but they look ok (although nothing like it was 10min later http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=31864#entry356813). Ive thrown in a picture to show off the new spacers on the rear too! Showing the spaces:
  13. I didn't get out. I had to wait 30min for my dad to come pull me out with a sling haha.
  14. The Goal, which would of made for an EPIC photo: and the result..... as you can see i DIDN'T EVEN GET CLOSE.
  15. so so clean. That must of hurt.
  16. Heres what i would do personally, a little different but ive done it with my brothers NL fairlane and it looks great on luxury style cars. 2" flappers all round. Photoshop looks a little off, looks much better in real life. Troy
  17. Heres a couple quick chops, single and double walls. Very nice Merc by the way, something like this is about one of the only newish car i could drive as a daily. Troy
  18. Rule no. 4 of the classic: All motor vehicles must be substantially to manufacturers' specifications, roadworthy and of acceptable standard of quality in the opinion of the Committee. KE20's came out with superlites right?
  19. Nice. I will go if my cars allowed. Any chances of defects? haha
  20. Would my car be allowed?
  21. Noooooooo! A FWD and a nissan! I would just about off myself, honestly  haha kidding. She's going to me looking mighty fine once she's painted again. Good luck!!
  22. Autobarn sells sound deadener called dynamat. It's not cheap stuff, cost is around $320 for a bulk pack which will do roughly 4 doors and a boot usually.
  23. See thats where mines awsome, it attracts a stupid amount of attention and looks like its going to be quick but really it can't go much faster than 70km/h! Yay 20+sec 1/4 miles.
  24. Don't change a thing visually. Its a sleeper, nobody is expecting a stock looking corolla to move anywhere quickly.
