  1. Whoops stupid iPhone keys I ment 9:30!
  2. I'll be there for the drive in!
  3. I'm thinking of running some 175/60's but i'm not sure just yet. Would like to avoid a defect. As far as the rear springs I've currently taken out the second biggest spring and flipped it on top, and the little baby spring it flipped too. Its bouncy and sits about 1.5" from bump stops but never hits the stops? But that has to change with these wheels, ill get the reset as low as possible and then run some blocks perhaps?
  4. Looks real nice with the flappers mate, i run the same ones with the same wheels from frank on my ke20. Seen the car down at oakbank too, looks real clean in the flesh, good work man.
  5. Holy hell batman.... Thats just almost stupid lol
  6. I'm planning to do the old switch-aroo, while ravens not looking i'm going to switch his for my highly accurate cardboard te27 flares. My guess is that no-one will be the wiser.... I'm just hoping the flares will look good, i took a couple more pics tonight after some polishing (see pic), if the wheels don't fill the flares I'm going to bloody space them  Looks real tough with both wheels on there, if anything the front end would need to be dropped down a little lower and i would like to leave the rear. Also i would paint the centers black and would have some whitewalls done (i know not exactly matching the style but i think they look good). I rang a couple tyre places today looking for some 175/60 and they all laughed at me when i told them i wanted to run them on a 7" rim, they said it was physically impossible lol. I'm not sure what your chances are of running a 165/50! thats some big stretch and real tough to fit with that low profile. I also measured the offset today as well, looks to be dead on 0 so i know that for sure now. Like you were thinking some 13x7's +10 would come real close to fitting with a little poke? Ive got roughly 30mm of poke at the moment.
  7. I'll see what flares look like, if they don't sit flush ill space them or possibly cut down the flares. Ill just wait until i can try out Ravens sick te27 flares :hammer:
  8. If it looks good with flares then ill go with them, your right flares suit the style I'm going for it just depends on how they look on a ke20 back end. I know you've got TE27 ones as well, you got them from the US right from someone that made a mold from his originals?
  9. For the record my stud pattern is not converted yet! These wheels are 114.3 i just have the wheels sitting on the studs for demonstration purposes and resting on the jack. I don't really want flares, looking into pumping the guards out 25mm or so giving it a different look than bolt on flares, more of a suttle look? It looks pretty tuff but the poke is too much to not attract police attention, like nick said theres about 30mm poke there. Didn't get them new, i don't like the new style superlights i checked them out and they had minimal dish even at low offsets. Theses are also 4x114.3 There only just sitting there for now. its not far from bumpstops so that limits the downwards travel anyway. but if i decide to run these i will need to get my springs reset and run different shocks!
  10. Thanbs Raven that would be a huge help mate! Heres a few pics of the wheel/s on my car. Thats why i need flares or something similar to be done. What are peoples thoughts/opinions? I would paint the centers black too (i did quickly photoshop one black also). 13x7 with approx 0 offset, 175/70/13 also rocking an electrical tape whitewall :hammer:
  11. All depends on wheels and stance/height I'm thinking.
  12. Anybody else in Adelaide have a set i could try on? Raven has his stored away and i don't want to create too much of a fuss for him! Thanks guys. Troy
  13. Hey does anyone have any flares I could test out on my ke20 too see what they look like? I've got some superlights that hang out the guards a little and I want to see what flares look like. I'm in Adelaide too! Cheers troy
  14. Ill head out for a KE2# cruse, ill keep checking this thread to see if it happens!
  15. Man i want a car thats the colour or a bin. Looks tops man! New bars look sick too.

    My Ke20

I know that  Their freaking awsome after all. Unless you hate stereos then most people appreciate the work thats gone into this system. I know my glovebox is now basically useless but i don't really have anything to store in there anyway! Ive always got my box in the boot and under the seats for receipts or other paper work?

    My Ke20

Its a little nuts I must admit, but in the flesh it looks quite good, the entire car stands out and so does the interior. I'm thinking the seats may go to black however when the get a re-trim. Might be able to pick them up this weekend? The plate that holds the deck is 25mm mdf so its solid as a rock, but theres also support on the rear of the deck so she isnt going anywhere. I'm not really messing around with my speakers, sound is best I've heard in almost any car, had them for years and they have never given me any grief. All about sound quality.
  18. Loving the wheels! This thing is going to look real clean and tidy!

    My Ke20

When i brought the car the dash had already been stuffed around with bod to try to make it smooth with no success. So i just made the best of what it was. I like it alot, just a matter of opinion i suppose. Ohh by the way how much would you want for your superlights? I'm going to have a go at converting to 4x114.3 soon.

    My Ke20

Spent a little time over the weekend re-doing my dash as i wasn't 100% happy with my first effort. This time i laminated the dash with bench laminate, still inst absolutely perfect but its a much much better job than the previous version. Also while i was redoing the laminate i decided to remove the radio (after market one put in in the 70's) and the cig lighter from the center piece so i fiberglassed that up. I also completely redone my CD player install, made a little case for it to sit inside the glove box and laminated that also, looks very neat and tidy now.

Just a quick update, spent the day tiding up my boot! Absolutely nothing special, just a false floor, some amp racks and a handy 'storage box' with a Velcro lid that i keep my cleaning stuff and a few basic tools. Painted the inner boot and everything matte black also. Just looks clean and tidy now and is a little more functional with the space of the storage box.
  22. WOW thats clean. Looks hot, 10 points for being unique.
  23. Ill measure my wheels tomorrow! Thanks man!
