DRIVING!!! few "issues" though, brakes need to be bleed again and turns out at half an inch of travel between the diff and floor really isnt enough.......... car isnt clean and lightin is pretty crap but heres a few pics anyway

how much travel do you have between the diff and the floor? Mine seems to hit on any and every bump in the road and even on only light take-off and thats with standard height leafs

I'm still keen, I'm pretty busy most nights of the week, so no point in me suggesting a day/time. But when one is decided on ill make the effort to come alone

if my tailshaft was made properly the first time i would be coming out to the meetpoint to say hi and give the car a shake down run with the new diff. Looks like i wont be driving it till next week now :P

for now i just want to get the car driving again, later done the track it may definitely be a possibility just over 200rwkw is the goal (for now :P ) havent work it out exactly yet, plus theres still being money spent at the moment. Once the next round of mods is done probably around the $11-12G mark. remembering that 90% of the car has been build by me, if i could weld and tune it would be 100% build by me. haha i know, massive positive offset. Might look at putting the chrome wheel trims back on. Yeah looking at getting some more subtle wheel nuts too

getting new leafs made with an extra leaf and a half rebound. guards are getting rolled, ill let ya know if i need the tool but ive got a mate whos a pro at it and will do it for me. but unfortunately i can't lower the rear end anymore, the diff is only about an inch off the floor as is. Had to take the bump stop out. don't worry more power is install after this round of mods is done. But not by screwing in more boost, rather same boost but a hiflo turbo with a few trick bits. If i wasnt lazy today the car would be driving again, will be done tomorow when i finish work(at lunch time)

one more pic Tailshaft is being pick up tomorow, only needs brakes bled, tailshaft in and gearbox fluid and its driveable again will pretty much be driven striaght to the workshop for the other mods tho.

Hilux diff in :P How the wheels/tyres sit, guards need to be rolled before lower leaf springs can go in, new shocks can also be seen.

Who wants an update??? New U bolts, modified bottom plates (old holes welded and new holes redrilled to suit bigger U bolts) New custom made brake line to suit corolla solid brake line and hilux solid brake line and wheel nuts

last nights PRE drinks, old man got a blasting for drinking all my coronas and then filling the fidge with crappy west end. Only tastes OK freezing cold so you have to drink it fast lol

cruise route sounds good From lofty we can decide whether we want to take the freeway to my house or turn around and go back to greenhill rd and down that way. Both ways are as quick as eachother (depending how you drive).

getting charge $400 for a new rear yoke, flange and labour for my tailshaft!

id be keen to test out the new suspension/brake/diff mods

mine are tuned to 167rwkw and 260rwkw respectively rollas only an import block, RX7 has a build motor that ive never had any problems with
