  1. nice little project, sorting that piping out should be first on the list of things to do. Its WAY to long (from the chager to IC) and by the sounds of it you need to get the ends of all the pipes rolled/lipped and maybe invest in some T-Bolt clamps, they clamp down more evenly and tighter than a normal screw type hose clamp
  2. it basically comes down to personal preference and how legal you want the car to be. I prefer the rotary (obviously) because of the way they rev, light weight and compact design. The SR20 is an excellent engine with a world of aftermarket support, but in the end both are going to cost $$$ to modify and maintain, most people will say the rotary needs more maintain but IMO it needs no more than whats needed on any other car. I do a service on all my cars after 5000k's, as for rebuilds like any other engine if looked after it should last just as long. I had an old 12A stocker in a S2 that had over 200 000Ks on it and was still going strong, couldnt kill it even when we tried (was upgrading to a ported 13B). reved off the clock bone cold, reved past 9 grand for over 2mins on many occasions and overheated several times and it still went strong and hard!
  3. update?
  4. i tend not to drink them very often, but i prefer "rawing lion" tastes very much like redbull but without the funny after taste second preference is redbull
  5. definitely a legit offer extended to rollaclub members on the cruise. Happy for people to come round for a dip in the pool and a couple drinks (not many if your driving and none if your on your P's). Would be a nice relaxing finish to a day of cruising. BYO stuff obviously, but ive got a sweet BBQ that I'm happy to fire up if you want to bring meat and a nice big beer fridge in the shed
  6. more info on mysterious hotrod hidden in the shadows in the middle of the shed please
  7. to my house! pool, drinks, girls/guys in swimwear, what more could you want???
  8. looks to have widened stockies on the back. I think the "blower" your referring to is actually called a bonnet scoop, your particular one is known as a hornet scoop. Very nice base for a project, paint looks pretty good and no rust is a massive bonus!
  9. more notice=bigger turnout Cruise sounds like a good idea, my advise is decide on the exact details of the cruise and post them asap. Best way to get a good turnout
  10. i know its not a rolla but any pics of my EVO? i forgot the camera
  11. awesome little car! definitely my type of car, something i can relate to. SLEEPER FTW!!! EDIT: be interesting to see our cars line on the drag strip. Very similiar specs, yours a piston mine a rota.........
  12. hope you guys had fun, top effort to seating it out in this heat. It was bad enough in the airconditioned EVO, don't know how id managed in the rolla
  13. tunnel has to be modified, its tiny and pretty hard to sqeeze anything other than a toyato box from that period in
  14. thats like saying people under 18 arent allowed in pubs or licensed caffes.......... its not a night club, if your not drinking i don't see why you wouldnt be allowed in
  15. wheels look tuff, body seems fairly straight aside from the front bumper. Rust in the door is easily fixed (buy another door) other rust is definitely fixable. could be a decent buy.....
  16. yeah i do! its from the old mans car yard so if it doesnt sell I'm sure i can get it again
  17. my drive car for the weekend EDIT: pic didnt work ill upload it again soon

  20. speco guage was just under $100 with the sender Autometer guages are awesome, just very expensive. The ones in my S3 RX7 cost me over a grand
  21. NFI! gotta be more accurate than NO GUAGE though :y: it needs to be set-up (sender adjusted to your specific tank depth) so i suppose its as accurate as you set it up. At the moment i have just been filling the tank up before i go for a drive, bit annoying though when you go to fill up and it only takes 5-7litres
  22. cool, norwood one is 5mins from my house
  23. do tell
  24. new fuel guage and sender arrived
