  1. seats look good, mounted nice a low which is a bonus! You should spray the cooler black...
  2. maybe attending
  3. maybe ill bring the car to you......
  4. yeah for sure, those struts still havent moved from where we first put them at my house. We shouldnt have to much trouble making two good sets from them.
  5. cars coming alone nicely I wouldnt suggest driving the untuned, think of it this was; a tow truck to the workshop for a tune is cheaper than another engine rebuild :y:
  6. dash pad stockies (if they have decent tread), don't need the hubbies bonnet boot lock interior door handle covers bumpers (if there overrated) front seatbelts (if there retractable ones) scuff plates (if there in good condition) diff centre or complete rear end depending on price PM me an amount maybe i should just buy the whole car lol PM me a price for it complete as well
  7. i should change that..... I'm not really poor, ive got the money to do everything i want to the car. I'm just busy/lazy :y:
  8. I love my locker! Yes LSD centres are readily available for hilux's Theres a several models which came out with only a single spinner. No, I love my locker! budget isnt an issue, if i find the car to hard to turn with wider rims/tyres on the back ill upgrade to either an LSD or mechanical air locker. Will stick with drums on the rear to begin with, i think disks will upset the brake bias too much. But we'll just wait and see, it's easy enough to convert to a disk rear end so it can be done later down the track if feel the need
  9. and you know we're both poor haha
  10. what size are the tyres will?
  11. if your going with an aftermarket computer go for electronic ignition and individual coils. I run an electic Crank Angle Sensor and 4 bosch coils in my cars, using an mircotech MTX8 to control it all

  14. WAY to big
  15. CHEAP=flip top leaf spring in the rear (free), king springs SUPERLOWS for the front ($120 for the pair) MORE $$$= get the leaf springs reset to desired height and an extra leaf added to stiffen the rear end up a bit, fronts get custom progressive rate springs made to desired height/spring rate I'm going with option two
  16. good work, top effort! When your done do you want to take a holiday to SA, you can stay at my house for free. Ill cover your food/drinks and in return you can get my car looking straight as an arrow :jamie:

  18. very nice, NOW HURRY UP AND DUMP IT ON ITS ARSE!
  19. oh fair enough, i thought you were refering to the chassis rails..... G/L with the rest of the build
  20. as a rule there not a sealed enclosure for the amps and still allow air flow. Ill post up a pic of the set-up in my daily when i get home, nice and simple with no problems of overheating the amp
  21. snapped another axle on the weekend, ive got a few spare ( ) so that was an easy fix. Thought id take the car out to make sure everything was all good. I think i managed to go about 10k's before i snapped the rear yoke on the tailshaft again. Car ran out of rego today so think ill take it off the road and do the diff upgrade. Currently looking at a shortened hilux with a 4.11 locked centre :jamie: Brakes, exhaust and g/box xmember mods will all be done at the same time.
  22. I'm interested to know how you plan on getting a roadworthy? Do you plan on getting the rails pulled straight? The car will handle like a bucket of sh#t if you don't, expect to have very uneven tyre wear as well.....
  23. not the best idea, the amps will be hot pretty quick and you'll fry them. They need air to keep them cool and functioning properly
  24. i 100% agree have a look at my member's ride thread ( http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=24656 ) and compare how my engine sits in comparison to all the 4AGE set-ups in KE20's........which one looks more at home? lower=better
  25. +5kgs - 4% bodyfat run a 12's in the car as is, we need a drag strip first! and have the KE20 making over 200rwkws (pretty easy) with a reliable rear end (not quiet so easy) so i can run an 11
