  5. sportivo_65 i would suggested changing the plugs first. IMO without seeing the car i would say your plugs are stuffed, the stalling would be due to fouling plugs. Usually happens while just idling or putting around. Then due to the fact that you have stalled from fouled plugs it makes the car hard to restart.
  6. second hand gearbox can be bought for less than $100 then all you need is a couple of hours with a few mates to change it, pretty easy to do

    spotted a white KE20 parked just off goodwood rd/cross rd this arvo. Had a front lip, definitely i member off here just can't remember his username at the moment

  11. definitely no tint regardless of whether you change the rim colour or not
  12. if your looking for a "thinner" set-up look at doing a coilover conversion on your struts. Coilover springs use a smaller diameter spring which therefore have more clearance
  13. nope, and be careful if you plan on taking a modified car...... Cops set-up a defect station right outside the exit gates last year :yak:

  17. pretty decent effort for a stock car
  18. i saw an old surge tank down at the workshop today. had 5/16 fittings for the surge tank feed and return line, 3/8 feed to the pump and a 1/4 return to the fuel tank. All push on fittings, very simple. Just push the fuel hose on and clamp. Didnt have any mounts welded onto it, but I'm sure you could get than done easily enough. Interested?
  19. Hilux diff has been paid for and is on its way from NSW :y: Shortened housing/axles, 4.11 locked centre and drums to retain the (crappy) 4x110 stud pattern.

  22. My dad is business and finance manager at a major car dealership, which means i get pick of whatever demo i like :y: I do prefer the RX8 over the overs due to the fact i can rev it like my RX7/KE20 but the EVO is an awesome bit of gear
  23. if it comes down to it, but i was thinking more alone the lines of an '09 RX8 GT, Evo X or Mazda 3/6 MPS
  24. most HD clutches on the market are a very light upgrade from standard, the are much like a standard clutch in regards to feel with a slightly heavier pedal. Id recommend going atleast to a HD, atleast then you wont have to change it again later down the track if/when you do some performance mods
  25. its pretty safe to say the KE20 wont be back on the road for this cruise, but if i get the day off work ill bring a car of interest.
