  2. STREET ROD?! YOU USED TO PLAY "STREET ROD"?! street rod is my all-time favorite game!!!!!! we used to play on a commodore 64!!!!
  3. and my pride and joy; this is NOT for sale at ANY cost; I PAID $100usd + shipping for this about 6 years ago the detail is incredible; the engine sucks, but it houses an electric motor that runs a star gear that runs through the transmission which connects to a piece of rubber hose connecting it to a driveshaft that runs into the rear axle.......you have to see it to believe it
  4. I thought I'd post some of the old japanese models i've collected over the years; about a '75 celica, REALLY detaled with photo-etched wipers and full suspension. a '75ish Buick Shyhawk because you never see models of these., pretty crappy detail....., a '71 datsun sunny 1200, haven't finished it, but I started painting it up like the one I had......, a 1/28th scale '71 ke/te25 this one has been promised to Rob (Redwarf), a '71 Ford Capri because 3 out of the 4 capris I've owned have been red
  5. heer's some shots of the '73 Chrysler Newport...rear, interior, front, a '55-'56 nash metroplitan (made by AC in England) the car is absolutley full of spares; transmissions, rear diffs, etc
  6. heres a '51 ford 2dr sedan; he has 3 others.....a '72 Gran Torino in good shape, interior shot of the '65 Fury I, '66 ford custom 500 (Galaxie), '66 Galaxie 500XL, '72 New Yorker engine shot, left side, interior, rear shot, '65 Buick Skylark, rear shot,
  7. when I sold my A100 van in nov. some guy got a quote for $1,500usd to go from San Diego, Ca to somewhere in Florida. Not cheap I can't see it being more than $1,000usd got more pics today... the New Yorker is a '72, power everything. It has a 440-4bbl. It's MISSING; the carb, the dizzy, the front brake calipers, the a/c compressor and the glovebx door is broken. the Newport 4dr is a '73, has a 400 2bbl ps, power disc brakes, a/c....it's MISSSING; the dizzy. He's reluctant to sell the New Yorker; I'm trying to work out a deal for $1,000 for Both cars, otherwise it's gonna be between $600-$800 for the NY. Any way; MORE PICS!!! The '58 chevy is only $600usd and is in good shape...I may buy it....red car is a gennie wrecked '65 GTO,
  8. it was a '73 dodge monaco. IF you can find one here, they are fairly cheap=under $2,000. Wichita is about 30mi closer, but it costs more to fly in/out of Wichita than Okc. give me plenty of warning, and I should be able to pick you up.
  9. Ok, I made a mistake....the fury's are both '65's he wants $800usd for the furyI. It needs tires and brakes bled as well as the old gas drained and the power steering pressure line has a hole in it. But it's basically turn key now. the fury III is rougher, and missing some parts He's not sure about the chrysler, I need to get pics and show them to him. If it's the car he's thinking of it was hot, had a holley and a 440 and was a good runner about 10 years ago
  10. more....this truck is one of about 500; super rare!
  11. ok, I'll just post up all the pics that I have and if there's anything you're interested in, either let me know, or circle it? I will go out there and get better pics.
  12. when I replaced the K40 in daisy (1969 ke18) with an '82 starlet (kp61) k50, the forks were different; I had to make a spacer on my firewall
  13. There you go....and you don't sound like a moron
  14. I THINK he wanted around $500usd each for the mopars he does have a first generation mustang coupe that's rough and missing lots of stuff tons of falcons, comets, rancheros
  15. The Fury I is all there, has a POLY 318, 904 column shift. it runs now, goes into gear, but the gas is too old for it to pull itself on 4 flats sunk into the dirt. it's been sitting there at least 10 years the Fury III is missing some components, is beat up and a little more rusty. but it has a big block 383 and a 727. The new yorker appears to be all there and in good shape, very little rust. Haven't tried to start it. Most likey a big block 400 or 440. the newport 4dr has a bigblock 400 and is missing the distributor. our phoenix/pioneer; speaking of '65 belairs....look at the car next to it.....he has about 5 of them
  16. here is a '73 Chrysler New Yorker in pretty good shape. he also has a 4dr plain jane vanilla sedan that would make a good cop car clone.
  17. Yup and parts are non-existant over there. He has a super clean '66 furyI 4dr and a rough '66 fury III. I ALMOST got the FuryI; but decided on the '53 instead. it runs and drives now, I put a battery in it, primed the carb and it fired and stayed running. the gas is pretty sour though. look in the field behind the '51 you will see the FuryIII. These could be had for less than the Impala.
  18. here's an old '51 ish caddy and a '57 ford 2dr ranch wagon
  19. I've searched and searched but can't find the thread; "Look out Tokyo"....oh, well Well, a friend of mine has been scrapping old cars out here since the '50s. So anyone with the money to pay for shipping could have these pretty cheap I didn't want to post this in the for sale area, because it's not really that kind of deal as we were already talking about this Here is a '63 Chevy Impala 2dr ht with a 230 I-6 and a powerslide. the trunklid is damaged but there is a 4dr parts car with a cherry one to go with it. $800usd! shipping is up to you. I can help with logistics here in the states, but overseas stuff is up to you He has all kinds of old stuff out there!!!
  20. well; since I'm not working, I can devote lots of time to the project... got all the brake parts in Ca for $80, got them up. put 2 qt. kerosene in the crankcase and got the valves freed up. "Jellybean" runs and drives very well; the clutch is very grabby though. I have a hole in the radiator limiting my cruise distance as well as the fact that the rego has been expired since 1975. started welding up the non-existant floors..... I'm running a '68 KE10 fuel tank until I can get the original one boiled out the gold colored metal is from an old Cricket/Avenger trunklid and the red colored metal is from a wrecked 2000(ish)pontiac hood I got from the body shop I didn't want to chop up my dash so I made an insert for the cd player
  21. I understand that dogs usually don't just attack people randomly; they're usually provoked into it. BUT....... there's a difference between a bite and taking a kids head into it's mouth and skaking it; that's a kill tactic. I did K-9 security for a little while and the first thing they taught us was how to kill our canines as quick as possible in a situation if it attacked an innocent. Also, once they did attack an innocent they would have to be put down. as far little dogs go......; I HATE yappy little dogs. Kristy has Boston Terriers and they're great as they don't bark, they don't yap, and they are totally friendly. They're afraid of my killer cat :y:
  22. that would be one f@$king dead dog.... I would personally rip him apart with my bare hands; screw shooting him!
  23. Why would you bother woth the 18r? Most of our early celicas had the 20r until '83 when they went to the 22r-e my sister had a '74 with the 20r there's a guy here in town with an early celica; I will ask him if I can take some pics of the engine bay
  24. I hit a big ass possum with my '77 V-8 Mustang II at 120mph; it was like hitting a brick wall Hit a bird with the stereo antenna of Kristy's Neon; cut its wing right off! COUNTLESS rabbits then of course there was the 8 point buck that killed Bubba.....;
  25. I have a little stick I use for adjusting the mirrors; it's still kind of a bitch to do the pass. side
