1. I agree; but maybe allow ebay items owned by Rollaclub members to be posted in for sal sections as well as the ebay section ONLY for members though
2. BAH HUMBUG!!!!
3. holy shit! that CAN'T be good for the thrust bearings...... I wonder how long that could last?
4. Yeah, but then you get people like me who can't access ebay aus. stuff, but may be able to buy after seeing them on Rollaclub
5. well; everyone in my family has been bugging me to get one so they can commune with me.....so......... I got one.........kristy still hasn't forgiven me it's Mikeys Toy
6. exactly; polishing exhaust ports is fine, but not intake
7. i've got an 044 on daisy Without a surge tank and Without a lift pump. the only time it cavitates is when i hit a corner hard and there's less than 1/4 tank. it was used on the starlet i pulled it off of, and i've been using it for 4 years now w/o any problems outside of the wiring it draws MAJOR power; i think the 13a may have been conservative. Run 10g. wire, with lots of relays as far as a timer goes; run your lift pump from the ign + terminal and run your m,ain pump throught a ground relay hooked to an oil pressure idiot light sender Turn on your key= lift pump, crank engine, maun oump kicks in when there's oil pressure, also if you crash, it will kill the main pump
8. you can get away with the left side mount from an '81-84 starlet KP61, it will sit a little higher on that side, but it will work
9. "now, now, honey......why don't you send your daddy or your boyfriend down here to talk to us" you should go in there with a powerdyke mullet, leather jacket, and cigar hanging from your mouth, then see how they treat you
10. it's the a/c amplifier, it's supposed to control the idle kicker as well as the a/c relays
11. '81-'84 toyota starlet '81-'82 were carb, probably just like what you have now '83-'84 were efi, good luck finding one i still have the dizzy, $40 + shipping and it's yours, it's a straight drop in, no other mods (except a hotter coil maybe) i have an efi exhaust manifold, hell, i have almost a complete setup, but the rarity makes them a premium
12. i'll go first..... early 1970 KE18 wagon 1983 toyota starlet 4KE with all the 4KE injection extractor with 2" pipe going into a camaro muffler and dual outlets 1981 starlet K50 1982 starlet struts and disc brakes 1974 TE28 rear housing with 1982 TE72 3.58 center sunpro guages, originals painted white 1974 TE28 airconditioning with an aftermarket sanden compressor welded up the rear windows making it a panelvan old ford steelies and fiat hubcaps it took 9 YEARS of bugging the original owner until he finally sold her to me for a buck 442,000 MILES on the chassis
13. here's one for ya.....; i moved from california to texas/oklahoma 2 years ago to discover "we don't like your kind here, boy" i got stopped 15 TIMES last year and 6 speeding tickets once i got oklahoma plates on my cars, i haven't been stopped since......what do you think? i was speeding ONE of those times btw being a commercial driver now noone will hire me
14. whoa, whoa, whoa!!! if you're gonna do a ke2x page than we get a ke1x page the original and still the best!!!!!!! (Copy and paste this Format, it will keep it looking nice, and easy to read) Name: Car: Motor & Driveline: Suspension & Brakes: Wheels & Tyres: Interior: Body: Other: *Put pictures here*
15. hey glenn; i had lots of trouble with this, the efi manifold made it simpler, but nut until i went with the header did i gain real clearance to go efi i put a starlet left mount in so the fuel regulator would clear the master cylinder, that bought me a lot of exhaust clearance. arent you running a dual outlet starlet manifold?
16. ya, i had to strip the area around where it was going to be punched, any paint would have warped the cut
17. that's the way we got them in '71, the tailights were all red as well as the front indicators were all amber same grille, same emblems
18. yeah except that THIS unit is genuine toyota; it's the same one used on all toytas up until '71 (except crown) and corollas until '75, hiluxes until '78.......HERE this one used copper lines, the evap unit is shit, doesn't cool that well at idle- 20-30* less than ambient temp, but it's a constant 35-40* coming out of the vents going down the highway at 90* i added the louvres to the hood for a huge improvement
19. way back when i just made some drop shackles to lower it, then put cut starlet springs in and ditched the leaf spring. now i have starlet struts, discs, and springs with the ke18 top hats
20. i actually kinda have one of these; that is, i got one for my ex's little bro and they left it behind when they moved and it's still there. it was orange, the paint and body were almost perfect; the hood was getting rusty. the interior was okay except the dash it only had 90,000mi on it and the head gasket rotted out over here they called them a plymouth arrow; it was meant as a replacement for the cricket (a better car) http://www.cardomain.com/ride/332734
21. Gemma would shit herself if she saw this....
22. this has been by far THE most incredible anime series i have EVER seen (and i've seen a LOT of anime) i bought it from hong kong so the translation isn't that great, but i know Jamie will love this i really has it all; romance, action, violence, blood....... it's done by the same people that did evangelion and full metal alchemist, so you know it has to be good.....
23. nope! as soon as i find some whitewalls........
24. well, i'm back home in san diego and was digging around in my hundreds of model cars and found an unbuilt '49 ford i thought; this looks a little like my '53 plymouth, but the roof is wayyyy off then i found a crappy '53 chevy bel air with a good roof here is the car after extensive body work; when i get it in paint, i will post more pics
25. the '74 TE28 i had had non-dealer a/c i say this because i am sure it didn't leave the factory with a/c, but it wasn't put on by the dealer, probably done when it arrived at the docks it's all nippondenso........
