tailight is a little dark during the day, but i think it would be anyway... don't know about black, i have used gloss black paint REALLY thin left one is the wiener

blast or clean the "lace", then spray cold galvanizing compound over it....it will never rust again you'll have to use an etching primer to make paint/filler stick over the zinc

usually if they're just a little dull, you can clear coat them i just bought a aus spec tailight from scott (rol-110) with the amber signal lens. here in the u.s. amber wasn't legal on the rear until '76 so they were all red the right side lens i bought off ebay was REALLY faded, chipped, scratched, and just sun eaten. scott's was nice except the clear lens, but i had a nos one anyway i've sprayed thin coats of a metallic red before, but i just found this new product.... it's to be sprayed over bare aluminum/steel/silver paint to resemble an anodized look, but the pigment is so thin, it works perfectly for lenses they even have it in orange to restore amber lenses! i don't know if they have this there in aus, but it's worth a look just clean the lens and scuff it with 800 grit wet/dry, then spray i didn't use a clear primer, and i don't know if it will fade, but it has a guarantee... guess which one had the amber t/s.......

the rust on the rings? i left that piston laying in the back of the RUNNING courier and it got rained on

drawing heat out of the engine bay makes cooler air enter= physics but this is a semi-serious topic my a/c; genuine nippondenso

they take advantage of the negative airspace to draw air from the engine bay and through the radiator it really did help my a/c, but i wasn't bieng too serious they're on daisy, i was supposed to show them off a long time ago and yes, they were done with a huge punch machine

picked up another '74 ford courier (mazda b1600) gonna start from scratch on this one my original '77 2.3 was running fine, but getting really bad gas milage (15mpg), and used a qt. of oil per 600-700 miles i found out why.....;

well, i did a best in the cricket of 17.17@79mph on slicks w/ a 1.8 60ft time and a .515 reaction time daisy's best was 18.91@71mph with the weber, slicks, 4.22 gears and the k50 the speedo has been certified by the chp so it's accurate.... last year on the dyno it would have run a 19.4@60mph on 185/70/13s, 3.58 gears and a k50 w/extractors, 2" exhaust and 4ke efi running like shit not arguing, but the numbers speak for themselves

adjusted daisy's valves today, then took her out for a little run..... marked off a true 1/4 mi. ran her through the gears.... i'm just getting into 3rd when i hit the line at 85mph i figure this is good for high 16's/low 17's? oh well... i'm pretty happy i can get 95mph in 3rd before the rev limiter hits at 6,100 rpm

i was going to use a really small return line so as to keep a min. of 15psi of oil press on the turbo bearings i worry that it may "cook" the oil tho

i planned to run the oil return through the fuel pump block off plate

stock 4ke ecu has a 6100 rpm redline and all the starlet tacho's had a 6000 redline, so i think that would be about it.........

the one fathest out is the advance, the inner one goes to the manifold for the retard

i'm with taz.... bought a super nice '73 rx4 for $25 usd finally got it running right, took it out on the freeway, rowed through the gears got to 8 grand at 100mph, thought, WOW! way quick, but NO top end..... oh, wait... i'm in third........dee-dee-dee took it up untill the speedo needle was pegged over 140mph and nearly shit myself i was 17 the car hadn't been regrestered in 10 years the tires were dry rotted it smoked like a bitch and used 1 qt every 100 miles @ 5.5 mpg GODDAMN THAT CAR WAS FAST
