FINALLY! i got my internet abd computer back, big update so here goes, got a sparco sprint racing seat and saas passenger seat currently gettin rails made got a microtech lt10s, oil cooler. getting my rims 14x7.5/8.5 very soon... terry is almost finished doing my guards... need to get rest of bodywork done and paint and exhaust... few little things and will; be out on the track sometime this year. i will post up some pictures as soon as i can, btw the old stainless exhaust off this car is still for sale, turbo back 3 inch, high flow cat and 2.5 inch under diff cat back with drift cannon 400 negotiable. cheers

nice work mate, are you using the standard diff? i made that mistake and it broke the first time i snapped 2nd lol find a decent t18 or ae86 diff, check out my build for some tips, also i have all the ca18 wiring diagrams and ecu pinouts if you need them... -

hey mate i did mine when i was a 2nd year mechanic, its about average in difficulty if you know what your doing, also i just found my ca18det wiring diagrams the other day if you need them, no engine for you though sorry :dance: but i do have a full stainless exhaust from the turbo back that i am selling off mine if you want it? from std turbo 3 inch then 3 inch high flow cat then 2.5 inch cat back, under diff.

thats a good idea, if they email it to members that sign up for it and maybe feature one tech article plus members news and comp results and upcoming events etc, even feature a project every edition i would definitely pay a few bucks, then if your selling something they could charge you a couple of bucks and feature it in the mag and everyone would see it and give the mods a bit of revenue for running the site etc, i think it would be great

ok its been a while since ive updated this, still havent done much due to xmas etc but i will be getting stuck into it first thing in the new year, in this order, 1. tailshaft 2. rust 3. seat 4. ecu 5. cage 6. exhaust (thinkin side pipes i dunno what do you think?) 7. engine oil leak (front crank seal and turbo oil drain) finally i will take it down to my work and do the wheel alignment and give it a test run before the track, run it to ensure no leaks etc and take it for a run on the street to make sure it drives straight and no odd noises etc, then re tighten every bolt i can see and then its track time. at least i hope it goes that easy :y: anyone who can help with any of these things in my list in anyway, plz do so :P namely cage and rust:)

just got back from fiji and spotted 20+ ke1x's some in overrated condition, numerous ke3x's numerous te's heaps of ae71's some spirits, they use toyota crowns as taxis as well lol, even spotted a nissan cefiro out in the middle of nowhere, crazy place....

not sure on that one mate, maybe ask some of the other guys whov done the conversion, one of them must have done it that way

just did this this avo, turned out frigin awesome! i had the guards off the car though when i did it, made it a bit more fiddly probably but they werent bolted up in the first place.

got around to flaring my front guards today, it was sooooooo easy seriously way easier than i thought it would be and it turned out 1000% better than i thought it would! also finally got my handbrake working, thanks to those who helped me in my post.... still to go is rest of bodywork and paint, custom exhaust engine management, cage, bucket seat and a couple oil leaks, then off to the track whichever one it may be!

cheers mate yeh i found a write up on it on aeu86.com or something, if it is adjusted properly at the calipers i think my cable might be ok? but if not il sus out a sv11 cable, cheers for your help everyone

ok so even with the cables wound right up, the handbrake doesnt really work at all and the levers come out way to far on the calipers, (they are not drum and shoe handbrake), just wondering if anyone knows how these are adjusted at the caliper, had a look and there is no plug like normal caliper handbrakes that you remove and adjust a bolt inside.
