  1. yea thatl work you might have to chop a bit off the bumpstops and don't expect it to handle any good :dance:
  2. PCV valve i replaced mine once cause i thought it was blocked seem to help with the milky look inside the oil cap but i don't know whether that was due to me driving it harder or not ?? try it they're cheap as chips.
  3. yea its had all the usual stuff done to motor got a fairly big cam. no air leaks and definately not leaking at the manifold might have a look at the vaccum side of things cheers for the info guys might just put my single carb onto it, atleast i no that runs and get it running good first.
  4. hey just been helpin a mate build up a 4k for his ke20 got it all running but its got factory twin carbs on it and wont idle. it runs sweet above idle but no matter what we do we can't get it to idle by itself. i checked fuel pressure it was at about 3 psi is this enough for the factory twin carbs or do they have more ? Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers Phil

  7. hey just got sum twin 40 dellortos on my ke30 and they got trumpets with socks on them but there isnt enough airflow around the filters and it seems to be suffocating it a bit just wondering what others use and had good results with? been looking at pipercross big single filters but there expensive and don't wana go spend big dollars if its nt gonna work cheers Phil
  8. iv got bowt 3 genuine toyota ke30 fuel caps in my garage shame I'm in nz haha
  9. i looked round 4 ages trying to find 1 but i ended up getting my engineer to make up sum plates 4 the strut tops and used an cusco strut brace bar and just welded sum mounts on the plates. worked reali well and cost me stuff all. I'm pretty sure the strut brace i used was out of the rear of a skyline or sumthing.
  10. haha I'm pretty certain that if i saw that drivin down the street i would probly drive into it, in my hilux that is. it wouldnt be worth ruining another corolla over
  11. i build exhausts for a living and i have found that generally smaller is better i think 2 inch pipe on a n/a motor is ample. as for a turbo application i would be going for 2 1/4 of 2 1/2 max this gives alot better sound and allows the exhaust to leave the head quicker. all depends what the size of the pipe leaving the headers is theres no point going any bigger than they can flow
  12. yea sorry adjustable coilovers. so they wont bolt up to the ke30 bottom arm ?
  13. hey been offered a set of AE86 adjustables anyone no if they would fit in the front of my ke30 or is it to much modification ? had a good look thru all the old posts n couldnt find much cheers Phil

  15. yea iv got a mate with a machine so we just soda blasted the paint and everything right off, what an awesome machine
  16. this is it after its soda blasting wee bit of cancer here and there but wasnt as bad as i expected i also wanted to flare the gaurds to fit these spitties on it but glad i didnt
