Good luck and leave those "cones/conduit/whatever they use now" alone ;) Let us know how you went. P.S. May take you up on that offer at a later date if it is still there.

Ta for the offer, but with no club membership or cams license anymore sorta rule it out. Anyway FWD and me don't really mix when I am out to have fun ;) JRace sounds great but the oldest is 7.......... :(

Ke20 12Inch To 14Inch Rim Conversion
coln72 replied to Tongue in cheek's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
The rims we used must of been the right offset to avoid this as we never had rubbing issues, but we only ran 185/65/13's When we tried 205's we had issues one side though. What you said makes sense though as we had no issues with 205's under my '20 with the standard diff and axels, guess the extra 10mm each side gave enough clearance. -
Sounds about right. Bendigo car club got real shitty when a big lump of it fell off in a braking area................

Ke20 12Inch To 14Inch Rim Conversion
coln72 replied to Tongue in cheek's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Find a KE30, get a bees dick machined off the axels and slip them in. Done. For the front, grab KE30/55/70 front disc, calipers and dust covers. Rip the KE20 stuff off, bolt up the later dust covers, use a combination of KE20 and KE30/55/70 bearings - think KE20 inner and later outer - and bolt up. Of course I will have forgotten something, as I did this a loooooooooooong time ago. Or you could find some Mazda 14's and bolt them up. -
nah, your gonna need a 9 inch ;)

Ballarat airport doing a khanacross. Things sorta dried out during the day and a hump that was flat out during the morning wasnt in the arvo. Take off didnt do much damage, but the landing............ I'll back up Rob on the FWD thing. Ballarat Light Car Club had a Camira as a junior car. It would place outright in Autocrosses on occasion, knocking off some of the AWD's.

mmmmmm, breaking things. Didnt do much damage at VMC events as the grounds used are generally pretty good. Club events though cost me three diffs, a cracked subframe, cracked strut tops............ sorta happens when you get airbone

Yeah, in my 20 I used to find that 20psi front, 18 rear worked ok for me. Would be up in the 40+ range at a place like Somerton on the concrete. But I didn't win either.........................

Bump your pressures up. Found that helped with the life of the tyres. By the way, congrats for having a go at the VMC. They were a great bunch of blokes back in the day. Except Redwrf of course, he didnt share the winning around :P
