  1. Peter Robinson strongly recommends the Liberty ethanol blend for KE's. He has found they burn cleaner and run a lot better. That comes from a bloke with shed loads of experience with Corollas..
  2. Any chance of a preview of the layout? Or do I ask too much? :D
  3. For any one thinking of going the address is McGraths Rd, Werribee. Enter from Bulban Rd. (the southern end, as the road does not go all the way through). Melways 205, B10.
  4. if it helps any i am going to do a club run to the museum in february :D
  5. Hi all Toyota Car Club Australia (VIC) are holding a motorkhana on Sunday December 14th at Gilman Reserve at Werribee. Things usually get away at around 9am I think. Anyone who wants to have a bit of fun low speed racing around witches hats in the dirt and sliding about will have a lot of fun doing this. Car doesn't need anything special done to it, just needs to be safe and all loose items removed. You have to have a CAMS L2 licence but this can be arranged on the day if you havent got one. PM me if you need further details.
  6. Had a quick look for you. I would start with these guys and go from there. The hillclimb track at fairbairn park is very cool. http://www.sdmahillclimb.com/index.html
  7. Find a local car club that is focussed on circuit racing and join up. There is a list of car clubs on the CAMS website (www.cams.com.au), so this might be a good place to start. There are a few guys in the Classic Celica Group in Canberra who might be able to point you in the right direction too. Best way to get started is to do super sprinting. You do four or five laps at a time, trying to improve your times, but not actualyl racing with the other cars on the track with you.All you need is a car in good mechincal order, a fire extinguisher, blue triangle indicating where your battery is and a secondary bonnet restraint. Hill climbs have similar requirements and are also fun, but perhaps not as good value for money.
  8. Website is broken for some reason.. Motorkhana is on December 14th at Gilman Reserve Werribee. I am not sure where that is exactly, remind me to ask at the meeting
  9. We have people with late model cars as well as early models, so all are welcome. Anyone who wants to do club motorsport is welcome, doesn't matter what you drive! Our Treasurer has never even owned a Toyota
  10. Is this cruise still happening? I will mention it in the toyota car club calendar if it is..
  11. Meeting reminder time - Tuesday week, December 9th the Toyota Car Club of Australia (VIC) will be having their final meeting for the year, including our Awards Night. Come one come all! We also have a motorkhana on December 14th and a Christmas Party on December 20th. PM me for further details.

  15. I am aware of at least two - there is an Aussie delivered cars spec and a JDM spec. They differ in the number of output shaft splines. A search on google would answer this pretty quick I would have thought.
