  1. As it turns out Toyota will be able to help you and are cheap enough to not worry about anything else. Get the spacer and two gaskets. I have also seen one listed on www.oztion.com.au from one of the online shops there.
  2. Bump this one up, next meeting is on the Tuesday after Easter. Still the same location - Bells Hotel South Melbourne. Visitors welcome!
  3. Starting to prep for a Hillclimb at Phillip Island in just over two weeks. A mate has just started a fabrication business so I got him to make me a few bits. A foot rest A tailshaft loop (it looks freaking enormous for my little car!!) Oil catch can Will post up some pics when they are all fitted.
  4. Powerplay Automotive are very good apparently and are at Cheltenham - (03) 9584 7373 I have used Ace Carburettors in Clayton and he was also good. 03 9543 5686. Allegedly the best in town are Thornbury Carburettors.. and I have also heard of someone called Manni Motors, but I don't have any details of either of them. Hope that helps
  5. http://search.ebay.com.au/fender-mirror_W0...idZp1638Q2em122 all sorts of options there
  6. yahoo auction japan would be the go. have a look in the buy it now part of ebay too... usually for sale from online shops
  7. They come up moderately regularly, patience will be rewarded. Guys on toymods.com.au probably have some stashed. Why not post a wanted ad here and on there.
  8. Sensational job there Gav. The rally guys love these things and horde parts for them - try this rally forum for parts - www.bmsc.com.au
  9. Glad my spotted went to a good home :(
  10. You will need the pedal box from the same series car as what you have unfortunately. The gearbox will be easy in comparison :)
  11. The rust is starting to be a worry. Interior looks like its pretty good. If it were me I would stick it on ebay - gets the best coverage for enthusiasts i think. you might get $500 for it, you might get $2500...depends on who gets passionate about it I think.

  21. This is on tonight. Someone come and keep me awake as I have been up since midnight so I could come home from NZ and go to work today!
  22. ***POSTPONED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST!**** Well I am going to run this if I get some interest from here/toymods or the car club! Departure point will be Hogs Breath Cafe carpark at Chadstone, 699 Warrigal Rd, Chadstone. (Just off the Monash) Departure time 9am sharp. Its a 3 hour drive down there, so we will want to get cracking. Bring a full tank of fuel! Given the distance, this will be just a nice Sunday drive down to the Gippsland Vehicle Collection at Maffra to check out the Japanese Car Display that is currently showing. Route will be just the Monash Fwy and Princes Hwy - you can go find a twistys run on the way home if you like  Let me know if you are coming
  23. Next meeting is on Tuesday March 10th. Come along Toyota fans
  24. Sounds interesting.. what sort of cars does TOCAU usually attract?
  25. Hundreds of companies in hundreds of countries ship cars all over the world... I would think you are best to work with someone in your home country that knows the Customs requirements in your country. That said I can recommend a very good freight company - Freightmoves, based in Sydney. +61 2 9587 5111 is their phone number. They have moved cars and parts for me out of the UK, Italy and France to Australia and I am sure can do a similar job the other way.
