Yea, if i see it again i will get the number. I should have got it last night but there were people hanging around my car cus i left my lights on, had to shoo them away :P And as Jason said, VERY good condition. Tiny amount of rust under the filler cover flap and a tiny bit under the passenger side of the rear windscreen. Didnt really have a look at the bottoms of the 1/4 panels tho. thats most of them rust i think :'(

Got my 4k today. It survived the trip from Enfield to Woodcroft in my boot haha, will get pics up soon. noot much to see really, just your average 4k....FOR NOW. Gonna get stuck into degreasing and hopfully painting tomorrow. Whats peoples opinions on engine paint? which brands give a better finish/ durability? Not looking to spend heaps of money on paint either.

There were 4 of us Rollaclubbers (Raven, SoulSearcher, MYSTIK and myself) who on one day headed right down south to victor on Budowski's southern cruise. Then the next day were up in the hills out north for the photoshoot 2nd take. Honestly, Nothing's too far if you want to attend. I will be attending any rollaclub gathering thats planned, If i can make it that is........and, if its not too far of course :yes:

That Twas my last day of any thing school related forever (apart from trade school) on the 20th of november. I graduated woo :P Where i went we didnt have to do any of that sorta stuff. My yr12 consisted of 2 lessons a day, 1 semester 11am start 3pm finish, 2nd semester 8:30am start 12:45pm finish haha. And i only went to school for 50% of the time. As i, like other yr12 were out doing apprenticeships. My old High school FTW :D

Yea, hooked it up to my ute and the idle was all over the place and the screen displays the wrong characters. Left it for six months and gave it another go at getting it right but the smae results. so ive given up. its just sitting in a box in the shed. I think there are a few resistors out of place or something, i still have the construction manual. Paid about $150 about 12 months ago. say $100 + postage. cus if you can get it going its a very versatile unit (dual ignition curves, tacho output, real time display, timing retard with the knock sensor etc)

Get the seal kit for 25 USD (about 45 AUD) find somewhere in adelaide that stocks a similar oil. then go down to CBC bearings and they should have what you need

nope, i just cut most of the tyre off the wheels that were thrown in with the car wouldnt have lasted 2 seconds driving to work with the amount of rubber left on them.

Ive got one sitting in the shed if you want it along with MAP sensor, hand controller, coil driver, knock sensor etc. If your handy with electronics you should be able to get it going, i think i slipped up when i put it together :dance: I never got to use it but plenty of guys on oldholden.com (which is where i group bought it from) can testify that they can do wonders.

When you free this weekend? I'm gonna come round and grab the other pair of stockies and rep the 4k before the new engine goes in :dance:

Thats the plan. Atm i don't know what i will be using in the way of SC drives. will basically come down to ease of installation and how easy it will be to replace things like belts and possibly tensioner pulleys.

pillows? Sound deadening? jks Will be using a serpentine belt after talking it thru with alex. EL flacon alternator pulley bolted to the front of the crank pulley. I think it should be the right size, maybe not. will investigate EDIT: can't see how a V belt would make any more noise than a serpentine or the like. Apart from a squeeky fan belt the V bent doesnt seem to make any noise at all. even the serpentines are quiet

theres a fair few 30's at you-pull Lonsdale. at least one would have a gd cond rear bumper id say. Yea, i paid $39 for Biancas rear bumper. considering it's a KE55 long bumper, it was a steal.
