  1. Hey Stu, As Phil said above, I had all the bits sitting here ready to go, but sadly the KE30 it was going into got defected.....in my driveway of all things. Planning on around 10psi @ 6,000rpm. worked it out and its a 1.05:1 blower to crank speed ratio. SC12's have either a 125 or 120mm pulley, require a 130mm crank pulley to achieve 10psi on a 125mm SC pulley. Undecided wether to go carb or EFI. Have a Microtech D4s here. Built to suit a Forced induction 4cyl and have an incling that its current tune is to suit a turbo 4K. Wether or not thats been changed i have no idea. The 5K is now sitting here at home. Back where it was a bit over 2 years ago haha.
  2. Hey guys, Just puttin it out there if anyone knows what car(s) would have a 130mm diameter pulley that runs a 5 or 6pk belt. Off to the wreckers at some point, but it anyone knows this at all, It would be muchly appreciated and save alot of time hunting.
  3. Cheers Bloke! Will inspect the condition of the 5K. As last time I checked it out was around 2 years ago when I pulled the head off and sold the lot. Now buying it back. List of parts so far (in possesion or on their way) Dished Piston 5K Complete Flat Top Piston 4K with recon head. SC12 with manifolds inc 4AGZE intake mani and ABV K engine Seal Kit 40thou OS pistons SC12 to K engine lower mount. A couple different K engine A/C mounts.
  4. Not quite Friday. But I bought an SC12 for the 5K coming tomorrow :D

  7. Upper bracket is also different. requires the KE70 one to be used with the KE70 alty
  8. Holden 202 have both Hydro and Solid lifters. Red motors use solids. Blue and Black motors use Hydraulic. The starfire is a blue 6cyl with 2 cyl lopped off, they also run Hydros.
  9. Next thing you know, you're felching with a McFlurry spoon.
  10. Matt, your blurring the lines between felching and spooning.
  11. Most bits to come friday.
  12. need moar pics Tommy
  13. Hey mate. Few things for ya. If you need new leaf springs shoot me a PM, can get them to your specs and reasonably cheap. XT130 LCA's on a KE30/55 wont make any difference, they are exactly the same. 8" wide wheel with +25 will sit the same a a 7" wide wheel. The extra inch is on the rear half of the wheel due to the 1" of positive offset. CHEERS, Ryan
  14. Either those or the frozen coke straws with the little spoon on the end. For when the going gets tough.
  15. Hahaha. gonna be good!
  16. Wont be driving for a while. Moving down near you for a few months. Just gonna pushy it to work. Save some cash, Get a bit fitter and give me some time to build the new power plant.
  17. Rego is due tomorrow. Will sit unrego'd until late nov. Keep an eye out for updates!
  18. Lookin good man!
  19. If you remove the front of the load area which is a false floor, all the mounts for wagon seats are there.
  20. I guess nobody told you about the being good at it part :P
  21. Rebush them. There is 2 different bushes. one with a 12mm bore and one with a 14mm bore. Use the 12mm bore bush. The length of the bush itself needs to be cut down to KE bush length. Fit the LCA with the Sigma balljoint. Replace balljoint would be preferable. Get a wheel alignment! Sigma LCA's have been documented to give a KE70 5deg of negative camber. KE30/55 LCA's into a KE70 have been said to give 2.5deg of negative camber. So all things being equal, a KE30/55 with Sigma LCA's shoule have around 2.5deg of negative camber.
  22. Hahaha, lovin it!
  23. Good to see Shannons pergola used for something useful other than keeping the rain off dirty nissan engines.
