Lately my car has been having a few heat issues when driving, normally it used to sit just above the 1/3 way mark, lately its been hitting half way and jumping to the last mark on the guage before the overheating mark. Replaced the thermostat today and it still did the same thing going up the highway, the guage is all over the place, anyone had temperature troubles with a 4K-C before? any suggestions as to what it might be? had the engine apart 6 months ago and the head gasket was changed then, only other thing I can think of is to try torque the head down a bit more... (suspect it has been chewing some water lately so i'm going to have to keep my eye on it)

Just disappears into the distance screams an all..

2 morals to this story i would say. 1. Takes a lot to kill a Toyota 2. Toyotas are worth pissing on :D :P

It does get annoying and its worse that you can do f@$k all about it, just look on the bright side, when it comes back and you put the wheels on, its going to be one sexy bitch :P

Had a customers wife back into my car yesterday afternoon whilst on a delivery for work... They have to repair the rear bar rio and fit a new bumper bar cover and replace the taillight...

Getaway in Stockholm 2 is my personal favourite, 2 of my favourite cars, Ford Escort Cosworth and Toyota Supra, the sound from the engine in the Cossie is just orgasmic *SPENT* could only dream my corolla could ever sound half as good... poor :) has not chance in hell of catching them.

I'm thinking AE86 front struts with adjustable coilovers and slotted rotors when I get the cash up to upgrade my car.. I don't really have a need to go all out in the front, it just comes down to how much power you have and how quickly you want it to stop..
