  2. just as long as your allowed to of course :P :fuzz: :) :) :)
  3. Can arrange to meet you somewhere if you want, our stops are usually aspley, hyperdome carkpark, then skidpan, what session, morning or night? my spots in the morning session :P
  4. Need I say if an engine can be killed, Nick can kill it quicker than anyone on the planet..
  5. I don't know why people put the Tape Deck / CD Player in front of the gear shift, it would be a pain in the ring to change CDs while driving. I find its far more accessible to put it where the factory radio is, then it frees up the bottom console for your CB Radio :P
  6. One of these days I'll re-post my baby on boostcruising..
  7. Well said Teddy, I'd love to see the pictures Rob always talks about of the killing of a 4K..
  8. Yeah, I'd Agree there, I used to have a ramflo (only cause it was all i could get at the time when i did my carby swap) but I bought a Redline Sports Air Filter with paper element as soon as I could...
  9. K engines were designed to be valve bounced :P
  10. My thoughts exactly :P E Type has always been my dads dream car, would love to push him to find one to do up :fuzz: as for dream cars for me, Ford Escort RS Cosworth Toyota Supra Toyota MR2 Mark 1 Ford Escort with Cosworth Engine AE86 Sprinter
  11. Would hate to be replacing bulbs in some of those riced trucks, would cost an arm and a leg..
  12. Was fixing a computer for a friend of the family, being a Corona enthusiast we got to talking, turns out he knows the guy that we need to contact to book a spot. got his name and number so might look into it next week, how many people from rollaclub wanted to show their cars?
  13. Crash's Seca was one fine example of a corolla :) even down to those mag wheels!!
  14. Mabey change a stock head onto it to see if its something to do with the head first before you go to all the trouble of ripping the engine out, just an idea..
  15. strength would be an issue though, strength is always the best in a straight line, i could see the clutch in that digram getting snagged on a burred edge eventually and twisting till it snaps, not a good thing at 7000RPM or so having the clutch drive coming at you..
  16. Damn thats a lot of alcohol there matt, anyways.. Have a good one Simon :)
  17. My drums seem to do their job quite well, can't say i've ever had a trouble, 3 clicks and my handbrake is on nice and tight..
  18. I've got 185s on my KE70, i'd be starting at somewhere closer to 195 like fook suggested..
  19. Gearbox must be a T40 / T50 to fit a 4AGE, not sure how to identify them, just ask at a wreckers or get one when you get the engine that definatly suits it. Clutch pedal box is from the clutch pedal, mounted through the firewall to your Clutch master cylinder Tailshaft runs from the gearbox to the diff Most of the stuff should be a direct bolt in, may need to play around a bit to get the clutch pedal box in, but apart from that anyone with a decent workshop should be able to do it themselves. hard to say how much it would cost, prices vary, it all depends on how cheaply you can source the parts..
  20. A big f@$k-off sledge hammer usually comes in handy when parts like your tie rod ends refuse to budge :) "If all else fails, use a bigger hammer!"
  21. Would be easiest to buy a new clutch if your going to replace it, do the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing at the same time Pretty sure both AE71 and AE86 Engine Crossmembers will bolt up the same, you may also need the gearbox crossmember too.. You will need the clutch pedal box out of an AE71 / AE86 as KE70s came with the cable clutch and have to be converted to Hydraulic Also an AE71 Tailshaft will be required as the K40 / K50 (KE70 gearboxes) splines will differ from that of a T40 / T50 (AE71 / AE86 Gearboxes) Would also suggest a larger radiator, as the KE70 radiator is designed for a 1300cc engine not 1600cc (rip one out of an AE71 / AE86) Might be good to also upgrade your brakes to AE86 brakes or something bigger
  22. How much did the Terratrip set you back? What exactly does it measure?
  23. The shocks I bought for the front of nicks car were $150 for the set (Pedders), think you are pretty much on the ball there fook :)
  24. Interesting, yet another way for enthusiasts to get ripped off so easily.. will have to remember that one.
