Spotted craig's KE70 out on the street in front of my house! :)

Besides the bonnet and black turret and flares that are a bit of overkill cos they are too wide, I think its a fine looking machine. :)

I also have my paint and panel guy who did my repairs on my car. (Check my project thread Lesley).

To pass road laws here, you need to have the surge tank mounted under the car in a KE70 as the fuel tank was never fitted in the boot.

****Quick update!**** Pulled time timing cover off today to find a nice double row timing chain sitting there for me! :) Next weeked will be my chance to fit the front seal and gasket, lube up the timing chain, get a new sump gasket, and degrease it and slap it all back together. Fingers crossed it should be running by next Sunday.

Change the tailshaft to a KE30 item and bobs your uncle (or auntie if he's a crossdresser! :))

Spotted Craig_ae8670 as he drove past me at the bottom of my street cos my panel van had run outta fuel. Haha.

Just picked up my new motor today from Turbo_Rolla. Comes complete with air-con compressor bracket (supercharger eh? :)), GT40 coil, dizzy, leads and thats about it :) I didnt require the manifolds as I'll be getting rid of the emissions stuff from this motor. :(

Ok, update time! The motor and box was removed, I removed the flywheel and clutch (found out the clutch is an Exedy Item) and thats as far as I got. Now I have to go pick up the other motor, replace the timing cover seal on it and slap it back in the panel van. w00t!

i thought like most Front Wheel Drive cars it would be 4 x 100

Today the fun begins again. Another adventure of...REMOVE THE ENGINE....w00t! Will keep you all posted! :)

That looks stacks better since you painted it all up at the front. :y: You missed a huge spot though. The metal guard that sits under the grille. You didnt paint it!
