Its not just fuel you have to worry about, its the size of the turbo itself. If going from a 38mm to a 46mm, you will need to port out the manifold that the SU bolts up to.

The shorter your inlet piping, the better the engine response as far as I know. Keep that in mind. Painting calipers is fairly simple. Use high temp engine paint and prep the calipers well (make sure they are ultra clean).

You'd probably find that would be a 1.5 or 1.75 inch SU carb. Research whether a 240z takes a HS4 or HS6 SU carb and go from there. Ebay is your friend.

I'd ask Lesley and then tell him he can borrow someone else's car from now on because he has no respect for your property. its' pretty rude. If i lent my car to someone, i would expect them to at least replace the fuel that they used and to leave the car in the same condition it was given to them AND if any damage was done that they SHOULD fix it. Mates don't f@$k up their friends cars. Its a priviledge that you lent it to him, not because you owe him a favour.
