  1. Especially if you've turned the motor over by hand without the dizzy in. So make sure the piston one is at top dead centre. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to turn the oil pump around so the rotor button on the dizzy is facing number 1 piston and try cranking it over then.
  2. I got paid today. So i went on a spending spree. I should have it driving by Saturday arvo I hope. Pictures tell a thousand words: Had my flywheel lightened a little (1st Pic) and then had it machined for the clutch side (2nd Pic) RPM Heavy Duty Clutch
  3. don't tell me you drive a shopping trolley Jason :'(
  4. Sure do. The tail lights are a fair bit different too.
  5. Yep, EB Falc's are MPFI :'(

Spotted Toda30/4 turning right onto Kings Road from Grand Junction Road. bet you didnt see me Dave! :'( (I was driving the Supra again, haha)
  8. *drunk raven says* A location would be a great start, along with a good introduction of yourself. A ke70 5 speed would be a direct bolt in upgrade. I believe there were no 4 speeds auto's released with this car, but may be able to adapt something off a Holden Commodore?
  9. I reckon 10am is a good time to get there. Gives us all a chance to wind down from the drive (8 hours for us) and setup camp etc etc.
  10. The more the merrier! The site is booked for two people. Cost is $20 per person. You will need to contact Jarrad regarding deposits for the site as there seems to be a cut-off date. Obviously the sooner you get your money to him, the sooner everyone can get their cruise stickers. In the next couple of weeks I will be getting everyone attending the meet at Apollo Bay together to show the route from Adelaide to Apollo Bay. I'd probably be thinking of leaving at 1.30am-2am Saturday morning to make it there by 10am Saturday morning. Departure point will also be discussed at the meeting. UHF Radios WILL be required for this meet to notify other members of car troubles (fingers crossed there isnt any), toilet breaks, driver swaps, etc etc. Mick
  11. I believe Nawty4 is in at this stage and Born Rolla doesnt have a working car at the moment, but if he gets off his arse and gets it fixed, I don't see why he wouldnt be going. I will be catching up with Nawty4 in the next couple of weeks to plan our route there. Mick
  12. I thnk from memory its two injectors in a down-draught throttle body. Not sure on shape though as I only had a CFI motor for a little while before I swapped over to MPFI. The ford ECU's only ran a piggyback. as EEC4 hadnt been cracked at the time to allow modification of the fuel maps. I havent owned a falcon for over a year now, so you best bet would be to jump on ford forums for that. And EA computer would be the best one to use. Make sure its a Series 1 EA Falcon Manual ECU from a CFI Motor (1988-1989), as these don't have any smartlock features which would hinder your starting the car.
  13. Run an electronic dizzy and you could run the whole thing on an aftermarket computer.
  14. The first one has been on Yahoo Japan Auctions for ages.... Same with the second one.... And same with the third... :'( Quite expensive for a TE27, but I'd pay that if I had dollars. :(

Meh, bewbs are bewbs. Its the Poontang you wanna be lookin' at :'(
  16. Techno Toy Tuning aka T3 They're in the US of A and are very helpful. Email them with the details on your strut size, what car you're putting them in and what you're using them for and they should be able to help you out.
  17. Most definately. Question, how are us SA members gonna get these stickers?

Valandor on Hindley Street (I was in the Silver Supra if you didnt notice Clint :)) Nawty4 on Port Road (later caught up to me and we pulled over for a chat about the Great Ocean Road Cruise)
  19. No such thing. Thats the reason you wont find any information.
  20. EA Falcon 25 spline centres were two pinion. EB-ED Fairmont's were 28-spline 2 pinion and XR6 had a 3.43:1 ratio 4 pinion centre whereas the EB XR8 had a 3.27:1 4 pinion centre. Just thought I'd clarify that as I have owned a fair few falcons in my time. By the way, you'll never break a falcon LSD with a K motor at all, just the cone's will wear out before anything lets go.
  21. I believe thats an Escort grille behind the AE82 FX-GT in that pic.
  22. Work hasnt paid me, which sucks as I was hoping to have it driving this weekend. That said, all that is left is to get the flywheel machined and lightened, a new clutch, bolt the 5 speed to the motor, bolt the starter motor on, put it all back together and fill it all up with the correct fluids and turn the key. So fingers crossed work pays me early next week so I can get this car running and work on lowering the back end and locking the diff :)
  23. State speed limit here is 110km/h :)
  24. Sounds like a plan. Ill be buying a map (when i friggin' get paid) and looking at the way to go and suss it all out from there.
