This is an EE80. It looks like a a normal AE82 hatch, except with 2 doors. Front of the EE80. The Front bar is an FX-GT style front bar. The side shot shows it has 2 doors, yes, thats right 2 DOORS. The back shows a GL badge. Wooo.....exciting haha. Interior shot and door trim shot. What's that!? Its a 2E Engine! 1.3L powerhouse! The part of the VIN that says its an EE80. I hope that's informative for everyone and that yes, they do exist! These cars were a strict import and you don't see all that many of them around.

I spoke to dale (one of the mechanics that worked on your car) on Saturday and he said that it was pumping out a lot of oil out of the breather. You didnt happen to get this car from someone in Mawson Lakes at all did you Lesley? Good to see it'll be fixed under warranty though :wink:

Yup, what teddy said. A guy that was selling parts on here when i had my KE55 had a twin aisan carb manifold with carbs. I think he wanted something like $250 for it. I don't know if thats a good price or not though and that was about 9 months ago.

Yep its an old school Corolla Sprinter manifold. Comes with the 3K-B engines if i recall correctly. Pretty sure KE15 Sprinters had 'em. Felix would know a bit more about them i'd say.

I used to do street-drift in industrial area's until i clipped a gutter in my falcon at the time, spun around and nearly went through a fence. That was the last time i attempted it and i was getting to know my car a fair bit doing it. But now, I just figure it wears out your diff prematurely and its not worth killing it. So racing is for me really, though I do also enjoy just driving my car.

Maybe, if i have a job by mid year so i can fix all the dents and get the panel van resprayed, otherwise no, i'm not gonna put my shit-heap on display :wink:

KE30 2-door sedan used to frequent my service station when i worked there. Worked off its tits 250 x-flow anyone? haha Also had a KE20 come through the service station with a VL Turbo engine in it too. Firewall was cut out and it had an RX7 minispooled diff in it and that did some nice circles out on the road one night too. Apparently this thing would go sideways from kickdown and 110km/h. THAT is one car i wouldnt want to pilot in a hurry. :wink:

Thats just the type of hose fitting used. The surge tank is just that, a surge tank, but how the fuel lines hook up is the difference between the two. The difference in how they connect up, I don't know. I suggest google in this instance.

You have to ask yourself this. Do you want a car that goes fast in a straight line and steers like aboat around corners cos of a heavy front end OR Do you want a car that goes fast in a straight line and also can turn corners?

Gawler? Talk about out in the sticks. Much nicer places to live are Salisbury East (thats where i am and i have no problems at all), Golden Grove (pricey but nice), Wynn Vale, Para Hills, Valley View, just to name a few. People give us northerners shit saying its crime central up here, but down south is much worse. :)

All my locks are shot to pieces. Very worn out. I have a set here that i'm gonna fit up over the next week. The previous owner (or owner before him) also sheered off the bolt to the catch on the floor of the panel van, so i gotta get that out and get another bolt for it and line up the tailgate properly to get that part of the car all working properly. Should be all sweet then. :)
