Well, me and the drummer from my band went for a walk last night through a cemetary to take some pics for our new background for our band's website. Within Reason Website I finally got the pictures sent to me this morning and while observing them, came across these....orbs. Prior research is that these orbs are in fact "Spirit Orbs" and they werent in the pictures when we took them (it was completely dark with NO light, the moon wasnt even visible) and we were over 10 metres away from the nearest headstone. Original - 1 Original - 1 - Brightness Increased Original - 2 Original - 2 - Brightness Increased I brightened up those pics so you could see the orbs clearly. Nothing prepared me for this though.... Just thought this would make for an interesting topic! Mick P.S. As you can see, there was definately NOT enough light from the flash to cause any reflections from the head stones.

I had my stock T50 shifter shortened cos i thought it was too long by 1 one. My neighbour who has a metal lathe cut it and re-tapped the thread for me. Felt stacks better cos it was so damn long :P

I would think the yoke would be different. Only one way to find out really. Go to a self-serve wrecker and toy around. I know my KE55 that i put my 4A-C in had a custom shortened tailshaft. I'll have a look at my spare rusty sedan one tomorrow and tell you if they are different or not.

Check your wiring and make sure the globe holders are in the correct spots. Sometimes the most simple things create trouble and you gotta start somewhere, right?

Maybe YOU have success, but everyone isnt YOU dude. So don't go implying that just because you've successfully flipped springs means that me or anyone else that has attempted it is "completely wrong" because I'm the one that was doing the work, not you :P

As i did say and do quote "most of the time". I didnt say they all require it and i've seen some pretty rusted leaf springs in my time, but i will give this a shot when i lower the front of my car :P

Flipping leaves over requires a rattle gun due to rusted bolts most of the time. Which leaves do you suggest to turn over? Cos i thought turning over leaves would raise the height of the vehicle in question.

Does it idle properly now? Cos i have another carby on the car and its doing the same thing still.

Try toyota. They had the nylon collars for the hinges for my panel van still. I'm sure they would sell new fuel sender units at a hefty price. Best bet is to get one from a wrecker. What i DO KNOW 100% is, is that a KE36 and KE38 wagon have different types of fuel senders. KE36 has a short arm sender unit and a KE38 has a long one. The reason they don't interchange? That's cos the KE36/38's came out with different fuel gauges. One is called a Smith and the other is called something else. The Smith one is the KE36 one. The signals are different between the sender units, therefore they don't register if trying to put a KE38 wagon one in a KE36. I found this out after putting 2 KE38 ones in my KE36. Then i got a practically brand new KE36 one and slapped it in and it works 100%. Sedans though, i'm not sure. Surely the fuel tank in a sedan would be the same design between the 2 models but due to the different manufacturers of the gauges between the two models, i doubt they would be interchangable. I hope that helps...

That would be the seat for the needle if its what i think you're talking about and yes, its very important. Speaking of carby problems, i don't know if your car is doing this itself but.... I was working on my mate's KE38 wagon today. Previous owner had slapped a 3K in it and the carby was leaking, and the car wouldnt idle at all (getting wayyyyyyyy too much fuel (so i changed it from the 4K carby it was running to a 3K carby to match the engine. Now, my problem is, it's still not idling at all but if you hold the accelerator down and keep the revs up, its fine. It also sounds like its running on 3 cylinders when its trying to idle and with a good carby now on the motor, its still doing the same thing....too much fuel. Any ideas, anyone?

Replace your fuel sender units people! They're only a metal tab that runs up and down a copper wire, and when that copper wire wears out, or the float on the fuel sender unit manages to get a slight hole, then you'll be in trouble and it wont read correctly. I managed to score myself a practically brand new fuel sender for my KE36 panel van yesterday for 35 bucks and its seems to be working. Won't know properly until tomorrow though.

Lower it some more and watch drift bible, lol. If i still have my AE86 dvd here, i'll send you my "back-up copy". Goes into great detail of racing lines and stuff, though its all in japanese, you can get the idea by watching what Tsuchiya is doing. Also has racing as well as drift stuff on there. AND I just checked and i do. :)
