Our 7k
Thanks for sharing that with us Mr Sloth Snr :D Definately an eye-opener for those wanting to attempt this type of conversion. Would love to see how it goes, but alas, i don't live in Vic ;) Maybe once the engine is run in, you can type up your driving experience starting from acceleration and all the way thru to 5th gear, flat chat :D

Toyota Levin Sports Sedan
That'd be an interesting conversion considering they're a front wheel drive car, then again, they are a space frame shell, so it doesnt really matter what configuration the engine is.

Mounts For 4age To Fit Ke10/11
3 ways to do it. 1. Find someone else on the forum that has done it. 2. Dummy fit the engine, measure twice, cut once. 3. Modify the crossmember by cutting the existing mounts off and moving them to the correct distance. Dummy fit the engine, tack weld the mounts in place. My KE30 had two 4A engine mounts. The drivers side one was cut and shut to fit it all up. The passenger side one was left intact. The standard crossmember was used.

Just Wondering
Such a nice looking car. Pity they're as rare as rocking horse shit these days.

Borg Warner
How many times does 6.38 go into 6.0? Theoretically, maths states that it wont go into it. Only one way to find out though....:D

Raven's Ke36 Panel Van
Eventually it will be. Need to find some cheap 14 inch mags for it later on too. Oh, also i'm lowering the front once my mate finds his other king spring :D

Raven's Ke36 Panel Van
*Update 2* It drives well, doesnt leak oil but has a slight head gasket leak, which isnt cool but I don't have the money to fix it at the moment. Stereo is installed. Speakers installed in the back. Fitted my set of hinges, replaced the nylon collars (all 4 of them with brand spanking new ones) on the hinges and readjusted the back door. Now it actually stays open. :D I fitted up my KE35 seats today. Also used the sound dampening stuff from behind the back seat assembly of a KE30 sedan and used it to sound dampen the floor in the panel van (they don't come out with it). Nice and comfy now. I then went to vote at my old primary school, backed up as i was leaving the school grounds and dented the rear bumper on a netball goal (not like it wasnt already shagged anyway), so i'm not too fussed about that. So once i've paid off my speeding fine, i'll replace the rear bumper, spray my bonnet matt black might even bump up the compression via a head shaving once i change the head gasket and see how it goes from there.

New Road Rules In Sa
/Start Rant I agree with hemi 6 on this one. What about the cops that misuse their lights to get thru a red light just to carry on without going anywhere they need to? What about the cops that speed "just because they can?" I think that there should be a rule in place that the general public should be able to report police for doing wrong as well, but all I see is the police getting away with it. Speed camera's in wheelie bins = entrapment It's all about revenue raising and it sucks and unfortunately, the car enthusiasts are the one's that get hit pretty hard by these stupid laws. /End Rant

Pics Of My Wreck
Repairable if you got the money to do it. You'd just need to source another KE25 and get the front end unstitched and a new one stitched back on. It can be done because i've seen it done. Just depends on how much it costs.

Electrical Problem! Help!
All fixed. 3 Plugs under the dash. Blue, Black and White. They all plug into the main loom. Seems to have been a loose connection.

What Isp Do You Use?
Who uses what ISP and how much and whats your connection and download limit? I'm on TPG, with a 1500/512k connection and they just upped their price to $70 a month for 25gig. I was paying $50 a month for 20 gig. I NEED A CHEAPER ISP!!

Ke55 Fuel Guage Problems
Mine works intermittently too. No idea what it is. Yet to yank the clock apart and have a look. Could possibly be a dry solder joint or something.

What Does The Inside Of Your Wagon Or Panel Van Look Like?
I re-carpeted my panel van about 4 or so days ago. So here is some pics. Thanks to Faulksy for doing 95% of the stereo install. :D

Electrical Problem! Help!
Change the whole indicator/wiper assembly. Sounds like the switch on the end of the stalk is shot to pieces.

Electrical Problem! Help!
Haha, its not fixed though. It was back to normal, with no left indicator light flashing on the dash and the fuel gauge reading incorrectly again.
