Hey people My starter motor died in my KE36, so I got another one. My main problem started when the battery would be drained for no reason. I disconnected a few things thinking maybe the clock on the dash was the cause. But today after fitting another starter motor, i noticed that my negative terminal was a little loose, so I tightened it up and the all of a sudden the solenoid on the starter motor starts whirring like crazy. It does this even with the keys out of the ignition. So I figure I obviously have a short somewhere, but for the life of me cannot find where it is. Could it be the ignition barrel? I've looked for the starter motor relay as per my wiring diagram and it doesnt have one. A quick response would be muchly appreciated. Cheers Raven

You could also get a pair of dellorto's and use them as ITB's by converting them over to accept injectors and a custom fuel rail. I've been looking into this as a way of fuel injecting my 5K later on, but also could be used to fuel inject a 4AGE or whatever :D Suss that one out Ankles. :)

Nothing is actually clear in the Redline Parts Catalogue to whether or not parts are interchangable between the two. There are cosmetic differences though. I'll take some pics of my Dellorto's tomorrow and post 'em up.

I know that the ram tubes use the same part number for weber/dellorto, so they are interchangable and they use the same manifolds and linkage kits. I'll ave a suss of my Redline Parts Catalogue later today and get back to you with a few part numbers/details if you like Ancullen.

If you try Techno Toy Tuning you'll find that the 15x7's arent the only size. They come in 16x7's too if thats any help. Only problem is you have to get them from the US of A. I know its not width, but the offset of those on the Techno Toy Tuning website are pretty nice. -9 for a start on the 16's as opposed to a 0 offset on the 15's.

Seems like AJPS is overpriced. As far as I recall, Superlites sell for around $200 per rim straight from the manufacturer in Adelaide. I'd say you got ripped off Paulie.

Konig Rewinds. Performance Superlite. Watanabe RS8. Hope those pics might help as people do get confused with what rims are what.

Paid $250 for a set of DHLA40 Dellortos in Excellent Condition. They seem to have been rebuilt not long ago.
