No, not yet. I'm now going to have to pull my clutch outta my coupe to get the panel van running as the pressure plate I got doesnt work with the gearbox....sigh.

OK, well, 5K pressure plates do not fit. So here's my plan - rape the KE25 of its clutch (cos I know it works) and put that in the panel van! :yes:

1/4 inch is smaller, includes a smaller ratchet too so easier to get into the smaller spots. 1/2 is stronger, wont kill the ratchet by undoing big bolts with it either.

rofl. I bought myself a clutch aligning tool, cos no doubt I'm gonna be aligning a clutch on someone's car at some point. Cost me $18 so not complaining and does quite a few different sized pilot bearings. :yes:

And yes they make them in a 15" x 7".

Some 3K's came out with a Nippon Denso distributor which you'll find will have an octane selector on the distributor itself.

I saw a KE70 today that had been written off in an accident on Philip Hwy. Does that count? Anyone spooted me in a Silver MA70 Supra, now that my KE25 is off the road and my KE36 still has clutch issues?

So last night Robert dropped off a spare Pressure Plate for me, which means that I wont have to rape the coupe for its clutch. Fingers crossed this bastard works, or I'm gonna cry uncontrollably :y:

As far as I'm aware it does what Trev said it does. Allows you to go faster but you still have the speed sensor hooked up, it just doesnt limit the car to 180km/h, therefore allowing the car to rev properly and also exceed 180km/h (on private roads of course) and by going by what was said about the rev limit being lowered because it thinks the car is free-revving while driving, it should allow the car to function properly and rev properly. Be interesting to see what Trev comes up with regarding the Reed Switch set-up though as I think that will save people a lot of money providing its a simple and cost-effective way of bypassing the speed sensor all together.

You may need to get a little magic box called a Speed Cut Defender, or, if you wanted more tunability out of the 4AGE, i'd go for something like a Microtech or Wolf 3D ECU instead.

So its been decided. The KE25 will get its clutch removed (cos I know it works) and I'll clean up the pressure plate and put that in the KE36 along with the 5 Speed. Doing that this coming Friday. Fingers crossed people!

Unfortunately the wanker who "scrapped" my previous motor and gearbox also decided to throw out the clutch box and receipts. Might see if I can fit a stock pressure plate. Hopefully that works.

F**K! It STILL doesn't engage gears properly! I'm starting to think I have a faulty clutch as I've changed the flywheel to a stock item and the gearbox has now been swapped over. The only thing I havent changed is the damn clutch assembly and thats brand new.
